About this listen

With the first divine spell form destroyed, Matteo is now in a race against time to destroy the other two.

It won’t be easy, but Matteo knows it’s the only way to free the people from the iron rule of the Sisters. His little squad is going to have to do the impossible while the Sisters make them enemies of the state.

With the armies of all three nations on the lookout for them, their squad has to sneak in through the defenses and covertly destroy the source of the Sister’s power. With any luck, they can be in and out without fighting.

Matteo isn’t stupid enough to believe in luck, he’s working on understanding his two artifacts better. With the right rune-words, and a high-leveled squad, they might have a chance at saving the world.

Great book 3.

How can you not like cities on the backs of big monsters?
Great characters and action with a bit of intrigue.
Great writing and narration.

Where did the harem come from?

Good ending to the series, but I didn't like being blind-sided and completely unnecessary poly relationship. it felt creepy and out of place in the world and in the story. if you took the entire pay out, it changes nothing about the real story.

I found it a distasteful insertion into books that otherwise have minimal romance. The biggest problem i have with it is that it wasn't flagged in the blurb. I don't care if it's for other people, I want to make that choice for myself. At least warn people.

it totally killed my immersion and feels shoe-horned into the story
