Engaging story

Overall good story. In the end unnecessary stretched out but I enjoyed listening to it.

Satisfying Elizabeth and Darcy Adventure

A long but engaging P&P variation with some delightful surprises. The middle drags a bit and the constant running between Longbourn, London, Rosings, Pemberly and the forests of Scotland was exhausting. Thankfully, Elizabeth and Darcy start to figure some things out about halfway through, breaking free of the usual annoying behaviors. Loved the ending! Narration was fine, but there are several errors ("his" when it should be "hers," etc.)

Excellent

I truly enjoyed this book. At first I almost shut it down because it appeared that Matlock and Lady Katherine were going to take all of Darcy's holdings and money because Katherine and Matlock had been careless with their own. I HATE it when someone I like loses all their money. Wickham was also involved in the scheme to rob Darcy. Fortunately their attempt did not succeed early on because Darcy and Elizabeth were on the run to avoid the bad guys.. They are good runners!. Listen to Darcy and Elizabeth evade their dastardly plans.
The virtual voice narration was pretty good, There are some glitches on pronunuciation but not as terrible as some others I have listened to.

Clever Retelling

I loved the intrigue. Just the right amount of chemistry. And Caroline Bingley gets put nicely set down.

just right

Many unexpected and not particularly realistic things happen in quick succession, making the story pleasant to read with the right amount of angst, romance, and righteous gloating at the fate of the villains. The Virtual Voice sounds fairly natural. If it were not for some misuse of pronouns, I would have nothing to complain about.

Excellent writing, creative story

Lots of dialogue and engrossing stories of several different characters. This is a very good story and worth hiring a voice actor to be in the top books in this genre. Loved it!

AI generated?

One star is the lowest possible score, but this novel deserves a negative one. If it was AI generated, the Ms Flan should use a higher quality program and advise readers before they waste their time. If not, fire your copy editor, proof readers, read it yourself before publishing, and do a little research.

One of the most frustrating listening experiences in years.
