About this listen

Alexa has come a long way in her journey to awakening as a super while also getting caught in all of the political intrigue that follows.

Immediately, Alexa finds herself drawn into the evil plans of a mad Countess who, at one point, turned her back on her own daughter, only to return now with a vengeance. Alexa is forced to choose between saving the life of her brother and rupturing the family bonds of her now-best friend.

From there, things grow only worse. Dragons are breaking free into the world. Wherever a dragon appears, only death awaits. Recruited to assist in a worldwide effort to eradicate dragons, Alexa soon finds herself facing danger and betrayal from the otherworldly protectors who are now showing themselves to the public in an attempt to garner public respect and support before the final integration occurs.

Danger lurks around every shadow as Alexa must carve out a name for herself and others in this new world that she now finds herself in.

Addictive Story

I really enjoyed this series. When I started the first one I wasn't sure, but then I couldn't stop listening. The narration is also excellent. I highly recommend

not as good as book 1 and 2

the thrilling 3rd installment of overpowered Lieutenant Commander Data.... I mean Alexa struggling to feel emotions and be more human .... add a dash of forced unentertaining lesbian romance and this is what we end up with. I hope the next installment of this series brings it back to it's roots. first book was excellent. second was good. this one is just ok ....

Not Bad

I'm still enjoying this series and I'm not sure what the negative reviewers are on about. I mean, if you liked the series so far then you will like this book. I dont, and have never, liked Gina so I just kind of disregard her and the eye-rollingly tropey need to have every litRPG heroine a lesbian. For me, the only real complaint is the glacial pace at which the plot is progressing. By the end of this book, we STILL have over a month before the integration. Yes, seriously. I do still like Alexa, though.

Author lost what they were trying to do.

What are you doing with this book series? The first book was excellent and then you just changed It. Now it’s a cheesy lesbian romance book. There’s less story more inner monologue like three times more than the first. Not sure if I’m gonna continue the series.
Garbage way to add word count! What do I mean by that? Narrator says what’s going on in the story. Main character repeats exactly what the narrator said just in her POV. The enemy of the main character says exactly the same scene from their POV. And goes back to the MC and move a story along just a little bit. They move back to the narrator to finish the the scene. To move back to the enemy. See what I’m saying. Less than five minute scene takes 15 to 20 minutes or count garbage. Full of the best stories all of the best authors do not do this. Stop doing it just stop. This is a third of this book.

Why are we changing the premises

What I enjoyed was the lack of emotion and focus on growth. So why are we changing the core feature that puts it apart from all the other progression fantasy. Oh yay lesbian romance novel now. Thanks.

Now it's just run of the mill same as every other one.

Oh yeah and were promoting twilight stalker behaviour of the girlfriend by making her have feelings when she didnt feel anything before.

So yeah. Might drop this series. Focus on story. Stop forcing romance to cover up lack of other things to write.

Feels rushed and not thought through.

You should have just kept the powers with the same people. Her girlfriend did not need to take her brother place as the one to see the future just to keep him in a spot where the other characters can keep putting him down and not take him serious. It make look bad like the author wanted to hit the delete button. And when I get in to a book the last thing I want is to be thinking about why the author is doing something. It brings me out of the story. The character should play the hands they are dealt if you want to keep deadlines relevant stop backpedaling.
