Publisher's summary

With her vacation over and separated from her father once again, the S-Rank adventurer Angeline is utterly convinced that Belgrieve must be feeling just as lonely as her. In order to make his home feel a little less empty, she resolves to find him a bride! Meanwhile, Belgrieve's hands are full with his own troubles, as his reputation has gained the attention of an adventurer hoping to test his mettle against a living legend, as well as an old elf claiming to be a holy knight . . .

No matter the distance between them, the bond of a parent and child is unbreakable. The hilarious, tear-jerking, and comfy fantasy-adventure story of Belgrieve and Angeline continues with new comrades joining the fray!

Good plot

Love the storyline. Angie really needs to stop reading mothers. It get really uncomfortable after a while.

The Lazy Chapter Titles Continue

The lazy chapter titles continue, using the first words of the chapter as the title. For some reason this really bothers me. Putting that aside, this is pretty much on par with the anime just much, much slower moving. I think the anime covers a whole book in about three episodes. The flip side of that, though, is we get more detail in this source material, of course. I'm looking forward to the books that go beyond what the anime has covered so far. I'm guessing that book five will be new material for me. At any rate, this is still a decent story although I'll be honest, the religious/political shenanigans are poorly explained and really confusing. It doesn't help that, I think, what the characters know so far is inaccurate so their already muddled explanations are muddled even further by the actions of shifty individuals do shift things behind the scenes. Maybe it's just my old, foggy brain though. Your mileage may vary.
