Publisher's summary

What happens when the cute mountain man you made out with in an ice-fishing shack turns out to be your brother's best friend? A whole lot of awkward, that's what.

Maggie's mind is reeling when she discovers the guy she became tangled up with at Marv's Bait & Tackle isn't a stranger like she thought.

The big snag: Sam and Maggie's chemistry is hot enough to melt ice, which makes keeping their secret far more difficult than either expected. Especially when one of them decides they want this arrangement to be more than just a catch and release.

Sexy Sam is credit worthy.

The narration on this book was spot on. I absolutely loved Sam. There was nothing about Sam that was unappealing to me. I love a ginger bearded man. There was about a 10 year age gap between Maggie and Sam. You could definitely feel that in the book. He was trying to lead her to the realization of knowing her own worth without telling her what to do. The only reason that this book got 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took Maggie way too long to know her worth. I am still not sure she knew it at the end of the book.(((Slight spoiler ahead----> Let's just say that her ex-Sterling never got told off by Maggie. He gets it from Sam, but it would have been more fulfilling had Maggie stood up for herself and been the one to punch him especially after what he says right before Sam's fist flies))). Definitely a funny, sexy read that I would recommend, but like Sam and Kate, you will have to have some patience with Maggie to get to the end. Looking forward to the next. I hope it is Lindsey and Dr. Dick--because that could be hilarious. #knowyourworth #SexySam

Worth Every Penny!!

Get ready to swoon all over Sam you guys! I could not wait for this one and it did not disappoint!! I will admit it is not as funny as Wait With Me but it fit the characters! I loved Maggie! She cracked me up! Sam is everything you want in a real man! He can take me fishing any day!! He did not give up on Maggie even though it took her WAY to long to see what was in front of her all along. And let’s talk about Miles… he was a little emotional this time around! Hahah I was dying!! I loved having him and Kate a part of this book as well. I can’t wait for Lindsey’s story! It’s going to be epic!!
The narration… ON POINT! I love Teddy and Erin together… they are one of my favorite duo’s, they are amazing!!

Next in Line Please

This book was amazing! I didn't realize that this was book 2. I need to listen to the first one. Anyway, Sam and Maggie were so cute. I like that it was not insta love. Sam and Maggie got to know each other first. This book will make you sigh in content and get angry at the same time. I love it!!

FANTASTIC narration!

I feel confident in saying that I never thought I'd add a #BaitShopRomCom to the top of my TBR, but when Amy Daws announced her follow up to Wait With Me, her amazing tireshop waiting room romance, I immediately added it to my TBR! Full of fishing puns and witty banter and amazing chemistry, Next In Line was just as fabulous as I hoped it would be! Sam made me swoon, and even though I wanted to knock some sense into Maggie from time to time, I enjoyed their journey and story so much. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are two of my favorite narrators, and they were FANTASTIC! They are so talented and do Amy's brand of comedy so well!

Lovely story and great narration!

Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon deliver a story, created by Amy Daws, that makes you frustrated, makes you laugh and makes you fall in love. Each character was brought to life with their own spirit. The story was easy to listen to and hard to put down! The book was a great standalone but the characters were so well developed, it leaves you with wondering where the story goes next in the best possible way!

Reeled Me In

I've been a fan of Amy Daws for some time now. I got hooked on her London Lovers series and fell in love with her Harris Brothers.

I had enjoyed following her antics on how her story Wait With Me came to be and her love affair with Tires, Tires, Tires. And as such, I was eager to give Next in Line a listen.

Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton are great together. Brilliant narrators in their own right, together they bring this story to life. And as for Amy's characters, I think that I enjoyed Next in Line more than Wait With Me - Sam and Maggie are awesome.

The fishing puns and jokes did get a bit old as they continued throughout the book - who knew that there were so many anyways.

If you looking for a lighthearted listen, give this a go. It's a great one.

Great book!

Great story progression and loved all the characters (most of the time). Loved Kate in this story too. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton awesome as usual! Sam and Maggie were great as a couple, but I like my snarky Heroines with a little more self-confidence. Maggie one minute was kick-ass then the next she became a little insecure. Overall this is a really great book

LOVED this!!!

I wasn’t sure what to expect for book 2 in this series. Miles and Kate were so perfect in Wait With Me, surely that level of perfection couldn’t continue in Next In Line. Well, I was wrong. I love Sam and Maggie even more!

This story was a little different as the heroine is trying to make some changes to get her ex boyfriend back. She is sure they are meant to be together. This was a perfect situation for Sam as he doesn’t do relationships, at all. The way Maggie and Sam’s pairing evolved was really enjoyable, the pace of the changes felt so real. I loved watching Sam be in a relationship without realizing it. I also loved the growth of Maggie when she made choices for herself. Naturally, the ending, LOVED IT!

This is only my second Amy Daws book, but from what I have seen so far, she has an amazing balance of fun, steam, comedy, and swoon. This was fantastic!

What did Teddy Hamilton drink the day he recorded this? I love him always, but something about Teddy in this one was next level good! Wow!! And Erin Mallon rocked it as always. She is a Rom Com goddess!

Next in Line

Great book! I absolutely loved listening to these two and the way they began. A little instant attraction but definitely a slow burn at the same time. Maggie drove me nuts at time because she wasn’t willing to see what’s right in front of her, but she is easy to fall in love with as well. The characters were so well written in this book and narration was absolutely fantastic.
