The number one best-selling series that Audible listeners call “wonderfully entertaining”, “packed with humor, geek references and thought-provoking storylines”, and performed by “a true master story teller and actor” returns as the Bobs face their deadliest challenge yet.

The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all.

But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy. Sure, it could settle the Fermi Paradox for good (and what Bob doesn’t want to solve a mystery of the universe?). But it also reveals a threat to the galaxy greater than anything the Bobs could have imagined.

Just another average day in the Bobiverse.

The feeling of discovering that your favorite new listen is actually the start of a series is euphoric. That you can immediately hit play and re-enter a beloved new world, or love story, or era from history is a gift to the devoted listener. But how to pick just 100 of these unique and immersive listening journeys? We defined a series as having a minimum of three books, and—after some debate—we decided the titles had to be anchored in fiction. From YA to horror to historical fiction, from fresh voices to seminal tales, hours of discovery await.

I’ve been following this series for a few years now and it’s my all time favorite science fiction universe. I love how science oriented it is and from the perspective of an engineer I love some of the explanations for how technology would work.

Another incredible book

I couldn’t preorder this book quick enough.

I basically consumed it as soon as it came out. If you’re a fan of the series you’ll love this one too. Honestly just read it, you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re looking for something to read next. Go read A New Eden, it’s the closest thing we have to the Bobiverse while we wait another couple of years for DET to write the next in the series.

Lived up to the hype!

I have liked every book in the Bob series. This is HUMEROUS SF! It is not a deep and thought provoking classic SF, it is light and fun, has a good length, fine characters, a compelling story, and a decent ending. I don’t look forward to Bob like The Expance or Captives War, but I will continue to grab the Bobs as they appear. The narration was excellent and added to the story.

Light but Satisfying

When I picked "We are Legion (We are Bob)" as my next listen several years ago, I didn't know what I was getting into. But I am happy to have picked what turned out to be a great series of very well created stories. I hope there is more to come in the Bobiverse.

Another Winner

LOVE the Bobverse, and this one is just as great as all of the others. With Dragons 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m just sad another multiyear wait is imminent until the next!!

Dennis does it again

I’m realizing I should have gone back and reread the earlier books again, as there isn’t a lot of handholding around earlier events… but that’s because so much is happening in this installment!! AND a couple of very cool payoffs that have been building all the way through the books. Definitely a worthy addition to the Bobiverse, but don’t start with this one - start at the beginning! (Which I’m going to start all over again!)

Love the Bobiverse!

Everything I wanted in a sequel. Mr. Taylor continues to prove he is a wonderful storyteller.

All I wanted.

When I found Asimov nearly 50 years ago, I was blown away with the marriage of realistic science theory and a kick ass “galaxy spanning” story. Dennis E. Taylor’s ability to dig DEEP into modern physics while still telling a compelling story is elegant. Asimov would be proud.

If Asimov was an engineer.

When I first purchased this story
Way back at book one I didn't know what to expect honestly as horrible as it is to say. I picked it because I like the title.
But I have grown to not just enjoy the story, but the storyteller's telling of the story.
He's excellent and the way he tells the story. It's so natural as if he is the characters as if the hesitations and delays are part of the character's story, but then the story itself is great for lack of a better word. It's awesome

Hard to decide between the narrator and the story

The Bobiverse is a great sxi-fi series! This entry just proves that's the case. Always tough finishing one book and having to wait for the next to come out but always worth the wait!

Amazing!
