B R I L L I A N T

I didn't think the story was going to be up to par with the first two in the series but OH MY GOD!! I was proven wrong in the BEST way. it was the first Daughters of Eville to pull some tears from my eyes and made me gasp and press for more. Marisol has a GREAT story and I will be 100000000% rereading this book!!!

love it

love the creative way of interrupting original stories, or of movies with a new twist and turn you don't expect, but still familiar and great to listen to.

Most detailed/bigger storyline centered

This was my favorite of the first 3 by far. I love how detailed it was, I loved how it really built more of the connection to the bigger storyline being told. Honestly such a great spin on classic fairytales, I’m obsessed with this series and I can’t wait to read more.

This narrator is tops

I have been into this series but I have to specifically call out the narrator. Jesse Vilinsky is insanely talented and I am beyond impressed with the accents and voices Jesse is able to do and how Jesse keeps all the voices fresh throughout this series. Kudos.

This made me cry

This book is a roller coaster of emotions at the beginning. I got frustrated with the FMC. Then towards the middle, it was heartbreaking and then towards the end it was so painful with all the other characters that were involved. Loved it. Can’t wait for the next book.

Great take on the Little Mermaid

The narrator is wonderful and her performance really pulls you into the story. I was happy with how this book differed from the first two books in that you get a closer look at the home life of the Daughters of Eville, and you get a closer look at Mother Eville’s character and love for her adoptive daughters. Can’t wait to listen to the last 4 books which I recommend buying.

Captivating story, a perfect twist on The Little Mermaid.

This book had me bawling by the end of it, granted I had an awful week so that could've been part of it. However, if a book can make me sob, laugh out loud and also get butterflies in my stomach then I gotta say the book is fantastic. This story is just as good as the first one with her sister Rosalie, so get ready for a fantastic dive into a reimagined fairytale.

This series keeps getting better and better!

Love the awesome imagination of the author and the performance is by far one of the best I’ve ever heard. The characters come alive and the story is enchanting. The only issue I can say is the depth of the main females characters constant doubt and whininess. It would have been a better story for her to gain her confidence slowly but constantly throughout the book. I still give this book a five stars because the story is so so good.
