About this listen

"For the night, I am yours...."

Meet Coop: Formal date. Wingman. Friend. Mystery man. He calls himself the G-rated Gigolo of Browerton. He could be anyone you wanted him to be...for a price.

One night, his services are called upon for a unique assignment: distract a computer science nerd whose strong grades are killing the class curve. All Coop has to do is get the guy away from his books, save the curve, and collect the biggest payday of his G-rated Gigolo career.

Should be easy enough, right?

Matty has no interest in making friends or any cherished college memories that don't involve the Dean's list. Growing up, he withstood years of relentless bullying and loneliness to graduate from high school as valedictorian. His tough shell helps him excel at Browerton, bringing him one step closer to his dream internship in robotic engineering - even if he has to do it solo.

When Coop stumbles into his life, he slowly breaks down the walls that Matty keeps concreted in stone. Sparks fly and quickly blossom into something deeper, but how long can their relationship last before the truth comes out?

Contains mature themes.

I like the book I guess…it’s just coop.. the job he had? I mean get it how you get it but I just feel like he had so many other job options to choose from. It was also EXTREMELY fucked up for what he did, i mean..like come. I imagined this happening to me i lowkey feel like I’d be on the news going viral for different reason.

Cute but anger inducing book

I enjoyed the story. It's interesting how the main characters meet and fall for each other. There's the big secret that inevitably comes out causing problems but a grand gesture ensures a happy ending. Slow burn to Mild spice.

First Love, First Times

was I expecting to hear Alexander Cedense rap? no but I loved it 😆
this is my favorite of the series so far, it felt fresh and sweet but with a hint of angst and all the found family vibes

sweet and slightly angsty, great narration

The story is cute, and Alexander does a good narration. I really liked both characters, but the rapping...I cringed from secondhand embarrassment.

Cute

First of all Coop taking on a job like that in the first place makes his character questionable but he still should have told the truth at some point. The rapping was…yikes…maybe stick to regular poetry or something lol. So annoying Kelvin didn’t get more punishment but whatever.
Messed up story that just reminds you of how people really are frauds but it is what it is. That professor was something else.

The betrayal was wow

I enjoyed the storyline, can only imagine how much more pleasant it would if Nick Russo was narrating. The strained voice projection of the ancillary characters is like fingernails on chalkboard. It prevents me from continued listening to any further narratives by him..

The narration

Cringe-worthy through & through. The narrator is one of my least favorites, in all honesty. He just sounds like a sportscaster or news anchor or something. And the story was basically second-hand embarrassing from beginning to end. Most of it was very predictable, too. I’m bummed & annoyed that i actually spent money on this book.

Yikes
