Excellent resource to help you guide your teen.

First I'll say that the other review on here is so far off base. They use certain examples to shame this book that are taken out of context and are simply not true. Get a copy and make up your own mind. Your kids are worth it.

I've devoured dozens and dozens of books on parenting and educating my kids over the past 16 years. One of the books that I loved when my boys were toddlers was "Parenting with Love and Logic". This book provided so many gold nuggets and guidelines of how to raise kids and how to properly handle challenges. The newer Teen book is similar in that it explains many of the common issues and challenges that teens face, but it also gives instruction on how to address those while building your relationship with your teen.

I highly recommend this book.

Unethical, misogynistic, unscientific.

The only decent points made by these authors are the same ones made in every book about raising teens. However, their attributing fertility issues to premarital sex, describing a proper toddler as a well trained German shepherd, and an over all recommendation of emotional blackmail is unique to this book alone. The whole thing is an atrocity.
