About this listen

With new powers come vicious new foes.

Danzen Ravja is determined to rebuild Sunyata and will stop at nothing to accomplish this task. He doesn’t want his demon father’s throne, nor does he want anything to do with his former life as a ruthless assassin for the Diyu Brotherhood.

But his brother, Nomtoi, has other plans.

Jealous of the attention their father pays to Danzen, Nomtoi frees seven of the worst, most demonic beings in existence from the depths of Diyu to thwart Danzen’s quest.

It’s going to take everything Danzen and his companions have to stop the evils his brother has unleashed. Danzen will need to continue cultivating his echo, unlocking new potentials, and he’ll also need to make a decision that could ripple through his life in ways he can’t yet comprehend. Should he risk it all and team up with an old foe, someone cutthroat enough to help Danzen combat anything his brother will throw at him? Or should he play it safe and attempt to stop Nomtoi on his own?

Only time will tell.

Pilgrim is a best-selling progression fantasy/cultivation series inspired by the Witcher books, John Wick films, the Inuyasha anime, the Preacher comics, and the movie Yojimbo.

Please Harmon.

Halfway through.... I just want Soko to go away. And the few I've spoken to who read this series all agree. She's not interesting. She's annoying man. She has to go. Please. Ugh... Man. I'm just hoping he doesn't make her a part of the group. So annoyed.

too much hate

all I see in these reviews are negativity or rage. I absolutely love this series and how you blended yokai with a kinda Chinese setting. the way you make the characters, for me, can't really be beat. I've listened to alot of books but Pilgrim us one of my absolute favorites for how it doesn't hold punches. yea the main character is a badass, but he's going up against odds that aren't in his favor

Story Good, Performance good, Editing Horrible

I enjoy this story as a whole, but this book (and book 3) have massive editing problems and changes to characters and story events. Kusonova became kitsune. Floating lantern festival became floating candle festival, and back again. obvious spelling mistakes read into the performance. noth worth listening to anymore. to me, this entire series needs heavy editing for consistency and flow. it's a mess.

Buckyfucktardo death

With over 1100 books in my audible library I have yet to run into a character that I hate as I hate as much as the buckyfucktardo. The only way I would purchase another one of these books as if I was guaranteed that creature's head would end up on a Pike
