Posture problems

I currently work as a Technical Support Analyst and I am stuck at my desk for majority of the day. When I started having problems with my back problems I was pointed to this book and it has helped me immensely. Also The Author Nicholas Gallo isn't just well verse with posture related pains. I was given advice on stretches and exercises on my knee. The man is a wealth of a knowledge. A definite good read/listen!

Start making some simple changes to prevent and al

As someone who regularly sit on my desk to do work at home and travel around for business and pleasure, I find this book to be very helpful; I was immediately able to put some of the prevention and pain alleviating practices as I listened to this audiobook during my very long flight to Taiwan for my cousins wedding.

I really like the author’s focus on the phrase “Prevention is key”, as the culture nowadays in the US too focused on treatment rather than long term prevention and health preserving practices. The more effort we put in early to follow some of these simple steps to keep our back, legs, and other body part’s healthy, the less likely well experience chronic pains associated with them.

A lot of these pain relieving are new to me so I started practicing them immediately, per the authors suggestion, and I can already a lot of reliefs from my very active life; the lower body related stretches really help alleviate the stress and soreness I feel from my daily 4-5 mile runs!

Overall, it has been an enjoyable listen, and I really like how the author weave in some humors and quotable statements that we can relate to. Kudos!

Good book. To the point.

Gets to the point without any fluff. Teaches you what ergonomics is and why it’s important and then establishes techniques that I put into practice immediately.
