So Helpful!

Being senior citizens well over the age of 60, my hubby and I realized that we really needed help to get in better shape, but did not know the best way to do it. We found this book that has begun to help us feel better in the short term and will improve our flexibility, strength, and other targeted areas of our bodies in the longer term. Although the positions were well explained and easy to follow we appreciate the PDF that is included with helpful illustrations when needed. I highly recommend this book for those folks who need to start moving their body again for a better lifestyle.

Get this for your parents and grandparents

This is a wonderful audiobook to help seniors stay fit with chair yoga. I am very happy that it comes with a PDF that has photos of all the poses because seeing the pictures really helped my MIL understand what to do.

This book is going to help her stay fit and improve her balance. At 83, she really needs it. So far I have helped her with about half of the poses and she was able to do all except 1.

I also really like the meditation, it really helped her relax while trying out yoga for the first time.

Just what I needed!

You wouldn't think this book could be an audiobook, but with the accompanied PDF it was great. I got to see what each position looked like, and the narrator has a lovely voice for the material. This is just the type of exercise that I need for my age. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend!

Very well researched and easy to follow! My mom enjoyed in thoroughly. Highly recommend!! The structure was great and I definitely recommend this to anyone older who is still trying to get some sort of exercise!

Loved it!!

Getting older doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice your health especially when there are easy ways that you can improve your physical and mental health by doing a few simple exercises. I think this book is ideal for anybody that is older, that is looking to improve their life by doing these chair yoga exercises. I think the author does a great job at organizing the chapters to provide the best value for the reader, and I love how it comes with an attached PDF with additional resources.

The Union of Mind, Body and Spirit

Chair Yoga for Seniors Over 60 is a powerful program for mobility and strength and should be read by all. It's not to be taken lightly, as it provides a comprehensive look from its ancient roots to relief from anxiety, greater physical strength and mobility, and increased mental acuity. Yet all of this and more can be simply applied and realized at your pace from within the confines of your home. I belief this program would benefit so many younger than 60 years of age. I highly recommend this book.

Amazing

Wonderful guide! Love the simple yet effective exercises provided that are easy for beginners to understand, while also very helpful for building strength. I am integrating this into my routine now. I loved the bonus attachment that provides visualizations of all of the exercises plus a guided meditation that was so relaxing!

Get more movement with chair, yoga for seniors

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I started out listening as I was driving and couldn’t wait to get home and try some of the exercises. I’m looking forward to the two week plan and seeing where I’m at two weeks from now on my flexibility. This is a great book and one that is easy to follow. I also appreciate having the downloadable PDF as a reference.

Great Resource for Seniors

As a fitness professional, I found this book to be well-researched. The wide variety of exercises is suitable for any senior of any body type. The descriptions were well-written and easy to understand, ensuring that anyone listening or reading this book would do them properly.
I thought that the included meditation was a great bonus to have. The benefits of meditation will sharpen your mind and reduce any stressful or anxious thoughts.

Great Resource!

Whoa! This is such an informative and helpful resource. I enjoyed listening to this and even though I'm not close to 60 yet, I know if I start these yoga exercises NOW, I will never regret it! I have more hope for my senior years now. The author encourages to always remember our bodies and that aging isn't always a bad thing.
