About this listen

Party at Dawnshire.

Graydon’s Armor is bestowing its power on players throughout King’s League, and not all of them think like Dirk.

When a vicious player-killer begins to wreak havoc in his own corner of King’s League, Dirk decides that the only way he can put a stop to it is by gathering up his friends and creating a balanced party capable of standing up against some of the game’s toughest challenges.

As Dirk helps Stoneburner and others level up to survive the coming encounter, he discovers that finding Graydon’s Sight wasn’t just good luck...it was the start of a game-changing development that will impact every player in King’s League!

Enjoy the midway point of this LitRPG epic by Associated Press and USA Today best sellers Jason Anspach and J. N. Chaney!

So simple yet complex, hard to find series like these that are clean, fun, and creative.

Love it

This one made me nervous the whole time. I spent most of the book convinced that one of several calamities would befall the main character, but that was just a smokescreen; when he did encounter a major setback, I never saw it coming.

I was very pleased to find mention of Guild Wars in this one. That's my MMO of choice, and it's the one that helps me to relate to this series.

This book was a good change of pace. He's finally getting some more powerful allies, and I can't wait to see where their adventures go from here. I look forward to the next one!

What a ride!

fantastic story. I had my doubts about the whole lit RPG genre, but this storyline by a great team of authors put them to rest.

This series makes me want Kings League to exist sooo bad! All we need is for the tech to catch up.

I played Ever-Quest for years and this book brought back some great memories of late night-into- early morning grind groups.

You know, falling asleep at the keyboard and soaking up the XP until someone notices and the group moves out of XP range....and then you get the respawn and you wake up hours later to a corpse run. ^_^

This combination of MMORPG nostalgia and VR is something many of us have wanted for years (holodecks, SAO, etc.) and this volume, in particular, really sparked that want in me.

To the point that these MFers not only made me want to buy their next book....they also made me go buy a frickin Oculus Quest 2. It wasn't really on my purchase radar, but after being sparked by this book, it became an impulse buy very quickly.

Great book! Get it.

(The Quest 2 is sick btw (this post is not sponsored by Occulus (but I am willing to let it be..hmu FB)))

Awesome entry into King's Lsague

I listened to the first book because did the authors and was so happy I did. This is another great addition to the series. It leaves me wanting more! Great characters, and the narration brings them all to life.

I want more!

The ending does reminds me of another book series by Travis Bagwell. Fantasic series and eagerly await the next book.
