About this listen

Laura is married, she has a good home, and she is due to give birth to her first child any day now. But her perfect world is shattered when her husband comes home flustered and afraid. He's made a terrible mistake. He's done a bad thing. And now the police are going to be looking for him . . .

There's only one way out of this. He wants to run. But he won't go without his wife.

Laura knows it is wrong. They should stay and face the music. But she doesn't want to lose her man. She can't raise this baby alone. So she agrees to go with him . . .

But as time goes by, Laura worries that she has made a terrible mistake. They should never have ran. But it's too late for that now. Her life is ruined. The only question is: how will it end?

Another gripping psychological thriller from the author of Til Death Do Us Part and The Tutor.

Twisty suspense that keeps you hooked

From the moment I started Run Away with Me, I knew I was in for a wild ride. The tension builds right from the start and never lets up. The story keeps you constantly second-guessing, with twists that come when you least expect them. The characters are layered, flawed, and full of secrets, which makes the suspense even more gripping.

Narrators Luke R. Francis and Francesca Waite did an incredible job bringing the story to life. Their performances added to the tension, making every moment feel even more intense.

If you love a psychological thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end, this one is for you. I could not turn the audiobook off. Five stars all the way.

Love This Author

I do not usually review books because I’m a simplistic person. I like just about any book with an interesting story line, it flows well, and the characters are well developed and I’m not constantly confusing them. I have found that I can trust any book by Daniel Hurst. This one was no exception. Great story!

The story has potential

There are 2 narrators . The woman who is the main character has a very thick Irish accent you have to get used to it , she is pretty monotone. The characters aren’t described & it’s hard to empathize with them and the plot. This is an ok book - just don’t pay a credit for it .
