A gripping psychological thriller from the bestselling author of The Passenger and Til Death Do Us Part

It seemed like the perfect house on the perfect street. Until they met the neighbours . . .

Happily married couple Katie and Sean have plenty to look forward to as they move into their new home and plan for the future. But then they meet two of their new neighbours and everything on their quiet street suddenly doesn't seem as desirable as it did before.

Having been warned about the other neighbours, and their adulterous and criminal ways, Katie and Sean realise that they are going to have to be on their guard if they want to make their time here a happy one.

But the other neighbours seem so nice and that's why they choose to ignore the warning and get friendly with the rest of the people on the street. And that is why their marriage will never be the same again . . .

Four houses. Six neighbours. And one shocking twist.

Though the narration was extremely well-done, the plot came across as rather juvenile and silly. Maybe it’s me. As I say, each to their own. But really, who would take a rumor from new neighbors next door seriously and believe it? I will continue to listen for now.

I wanted to like this, I really did.

The story was really interesting and I was so intrigued throughout most of it. I couldn't wait to find out the ending but the last couple of chapters were a complete disappointment.

Good presentation but disappointing ending

I loved the ending with that little twist! Executed very well! It was a little slow in the beginning but got better as you got deeper into the book.

PLOT TWIST!

Wasn’t a bad one to listen to. Was taken aback by who the troublemakers were. The end of the story any the new neighbor lets me know more chaos is yet to come! Enjoy!

While the story line kept me interested, I was hoping for a plot twist that was a little more interesting/explosive.

Disappointing Plot Twist

Good neighbors ... or more? This is a curious tale of neighbors who seem just too good to be true, and it gets curiouser and curiouser as it goes on.

Narration is perfect.

One of my favorites of all audibles so far to read! Very interesting characters! Great twist!

Holds attention!

It was a good read, if you have nothing else. I felt it was very predictable. But a good effort.

Predictable

The story itself was intriguing, and I enjoyed it, but the ending was a huge letdown really

Big buildup for disappointment

Not a fan of the annoying characters. I knew the first twist right from the get go. And the final twist wasn’t much of a shock either. Not really a thriller. I didn’t like the writing style. There was an awful lot of repetitive sayings and obvious explanations. Not really that intriguing. However, it was better than listening to static.

A book long argument
