A surprisingly complete guide to healing through the practices of yoga
I chose this title as an intro into the world of sound healing and received so much more! The author addresses life, creation and healing to it’s most basic element, revealing the truth that all healing of vibrational. Then she outlines the healing journey within the framework of the science of yoga and Ayurveda.
Her voice is at once soothing and precise. Her personal story reveals the journey through pain that is required for healing.

A life altering experience...
Sound Bath by Sara Auster is an intellectual, physical and spiritual experience. It is hard to put into words all I have learned from listening to Sound Bath, so I tell you that you must listen to it for yourself. Sara Auster’s narration is a sound bath in itself, her voice is soothing and engages you fully into this wonderful experience. You will learn to trust, heal and love the beauty of the unique individual you are and by doing so, enhance the ability to love others. This is honestly one of the most life altering books and experiences I have ever had.

Inspirational and Fascinating
This book, narrated by the author in her articulate and soothing voice- is a fascinating journey into the power of sound & how it can transform our physical, mental and spiritual well being. Sara relays the details of a personal trauma that inevitably leads to her own healing and the unfolding of her work with sound. She explains how and why we are affected by sound & how can learn to use this to create balance and harmony in our lives- essentially using sound as a tool to bring greater joy, peace and healing into our lives.
You will be fascinated to learn how our bodies resonate with vibrations of energy and how sound waves interact and influence us physically. this book is so well written, full of beautiful wisdom, and insight for embracing a connection to body, mind and spirit. Sarah gives wisdom from a scientific perspective, as well as spiritual and practical

Okay, But Does Not Deliver on Sound Baths
The title (and cover) are deceptive as very little of this book is actually about Sound Baths. The pace is so slow that 1.25x sounds like a normal listening speed. The book description does not deliver: the most commonly asked questions about sound therapy are not answered. I won't say more about what I found frustrating as there is still value in the rest. I'll just say that adjusting for pace, there is perhaps 90- minutes of valuable content related to Sound Baths. The remainder covers complementary topics such as yoga, essential oils, reframing your past experiences and associations.
