I have had the opportunity to work with Mike and after a great experience with our 1/1 I was bought in on his advice and strategies. This book will change your perspective on public speaking - it takes away the fear and brings the fun and excitement. But most importantly it gives you the road map of how to truly find confidence in public speaking. Do yourself a favor and download this audible, no matter the industry you are in! Once you listen, I promise you will tell everyone you know!

Narration and content can't be beat

Update: Many months later. I still have to say, this book is the best for the art of public speaking. You need no other.

If you're into public speaking, this is an amazing book. Some books, you feel like you only get one or two tidbits. With this book, not only is it well-written, but it literally tells you everything you could ever want to know about public speaking. Acker does a good job of coloring in just enough back story from his life and his coaching business without making it all about him. He does reference his website and coaching business sometimes, but this doesn't bother me. I listen to this book frequently, it's that good. And it's much shorter than Dale Carnegie's book on public speaking.
