Let me start by saying I hate it when book has to change narrators mid-series. However, I am pleased to announce that Tess did an excellent job and her voice for Claire was great. I liked how this entry in the series focused on her growth with her powers and added new ways to use them that she hadn't thought of before. The ending definitely has me clamoring for more and cannot wait to see where the story goes. Showing the more tender side of Claire this book really added depth to the character and I truly love the way this story is playing out.

I first picked up this series because it was narrated by Andrea Parsnau and she did a great job telling an amazing story. Claire is an orphan due to the coming of the system. she gets an assassin class to hunt down 100 people that tortured orphan kids to learn more about the system. it is pretty dark and very exciting. Tess did a great job narrating book 2. looking forward to book 3.
