A good listen

A great third book to the series. The author did a nice job setting a consistency throughout the three books. The characters are well thought out and traverse into book three with ease. I enjoyed the story and the magical elements! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

excellent

A power play for wizard lord in three wizardoms, creatures of legends surfacing and seers seeking for a clear picture of the future; what else can Jace and gang come to deal with. An excellent series.

It's gotten better now we have hero friends plus

We now have several tales woven into this book. and now, not only our "hero" ...well ok... maybe a hero has a bit of a dark side, in fact he is a bit if a rogue ...but a rogue who has a good heart and the story get a lot more complex. the hero falls in love with a princess, new hero friends bring together a variety of magical skills and now our company of hero's become involved a serious mystery.
Of the three books this is the fastest pace and you will be faced with a questions...who is up to what. Also I warn you the you will not guess the twist the story turns to . After you invested is two former chapters you MUST listen to this book three you will not be disappointed.

I have so many questions!

I love this series, it's one of my favorites and as we get further into the series I'm finding myself with more questions than answers! But not in a bad way...more like the inhale before cough or something...even though then current action is intense and vibrant you can tell something huge is coming that's going eclipse everything we've already experienced (hahaha get the eclipse reference) and I can't wait for that! And now that Priella has been introduced I feel like we're going to get a "villain" that's actually milti-layered rather than the atypical villains-that-act-villainous-because-every-hero-story-needs-a-few-villains that we've experienced. It's easier to identify with her motivations than with any of the others. I can't wait to see what happens with her and the characters that I've come to love as the series unfolds.

Lots of different versions of action mostly others

This is better than the last in the series. It resolves some of the plots it starts and it has much better relationship development. Things are heating up as the party gets a new 1000 year old quest. Most of the action in the book does not resolve around the heroes though. The heroes are mostly stationary so it is well written but will seem strange if you expect a high level of fighting from the heroes. Lots of espionage though.
