Publisher's summary

The entity of Nolost has racked Rale with plagues, disasters, and armies of demons.

Dante, Blays, and Gladdic's final effort to defeat him has failed. Within weeks—if not days—Rale will be destroyed. One last hope remains.

They can't kill Nolost, but they may be able to eject him from Rale before he can complete his work. To do so, though, they'll have to destroy a world themselves: Olastar, the home of the portals that link all other places together.

Even with a guide to help them through it, Olastar seems bent on killing them by assaulting them with grotesquely warped animals and malevolent spirits.

As they work toward the world's core, they learn something horrifying: this strange realm isn't unpopulated like they'd assumed; it's inhabited by millions of people. If Dante and Blays want their own world to live, they'll have to kill every last one of them.

Keeping getting better!

Edward W Robertson is responsible for getting me to love Audio books along with Tim Gerard Reynolds of course and “The 13 God” didn’t disappoint to say the least. Eighth book of this series down plus two prequels and I don’t want it to ever end!

Return to its best

Best entry of the last three books. Still my favorite fantasy world. Unexpected ending for the win

Welp folks we can see the end coming I’d say 1 more book and that’ll be it. I honestly can’t wait!

It is what it is

I don’t think the series will end but you can choose any time to stop. I think the characters will remain the same, development is over. This is the Marvel series equivalent. You’re here for a good time, don’t think too much about it.

A race towards certain doom

A series of continuous excruciating moments, filled with nail-biting suspense and action, perfectly delivered by both author and narrator alike. Is this the end?

Great performance - Stretched story

The last few chapters felt as stretched out as possible as if the author was desperately grasping at a few more hours of content to add to the novel. It’s a great story with huge potential but with a great author in place this 23 hour book would realistically be 18 hours maybe.

Better than Book 7, but final chapters are disturbing

The production quality was poor, as edited portions, were distracting.

Now for the Book: this was far better than Book 7. The last four or five chapters were detailed and disturbing.

The twist and turns of the Lich storyline is an absolute masterpiece. The White Lich is a beast.

The cursing throughout is unnecessary.

Reader is excellent.

I’ve invested a lot of time in this series and am enjoying it so far. This one is a bit long in details of each fight and conflict. But new character are interesting and story is evolving.

The chained god

Great series and always a great performance by T.G. Reynolds. Impossible not to be a Dante and Blaze fan I was even rooting for the Liche and gladic tho I felt he was forgotten about at times in the story an just given a task to remind u he was there and events were sometimes predictable but none the less great story. Also am I the only one who wants a Carverhal novella
