About this listen

Emma is back!

The core has been transferred to an airship crashed deep on the Rim. There, Emma and Anna will encounter feuding factions, terrifying monstrosities, and new powered foes in need of becoming research experiments. With a badly damaged vessel, they must steal, scavenge, and fight for what they need to upgrade to survive.

More upgrades, more insults, more science.

I think Skyler Grant has another excellent Series going for him! Can't wait to get to book 3 and 4 in this series.

Book 2 y'all! Emma-pocalypse is doing her best to stay bitter and not make human friends, but Anna considers her her best friend. Whatever will happen now?

Pretty much the same as my last review. Though there is something that slipped my mind thats very worth mentioning. The littpg elements are completely superfluous.

In fact instead of the litrpg elements leading to complex and entertaining resource management conundrums it actually has the opposite effect. Serving as a way to bypass resource management issues. They get referenced then handwaved as they all solve themselves.

You could remove all the litrpg elements. Replace with more traditional elements and there would be little change. Other than the author needing to find new solutions to resource problems.

Like the last book.

The basic concept seems quite fun. Overall all fairly typical for a dungeon core novel. But as you get through more and more books in the series the inconsistencies add up until I was overall very displeased with the book and wold have preferred never read any of them at all.

Inconsistent
