About this listen

It was just another sunny day at the coast when a life was changed forever...

What started as a prank for a young girl resulted in the elevation of a crab's existence. Now, wrenched from its happy life at the beach, the crab...HAS AWAKENED.

Sir Crabby finds himself thrust into sapience. Into a world filled with creatures both mundane and magical, a world where evil lurks beneath the waves.

Join Sir Crabby as he travels beneath the ocean, discovering power, adventuring forth and searching for his young friend as he's thrust into the Eternal Conflict of Arthos.

Bestseller Ryan Rimmel, author of Noobtown, teams up with Boe Hagen to bring you this hilarious and unique LitRPG Series about the most unlikely of heroes who gains access to a System, and all the wacky adventures that ensue.

More Story Less Lore

Too much of the random Lore. After a while it just became grating on the nerves.

Really great and funny!

I really enjoyed this book. It had lots of humor and new ideas. The beginning was better than ending but still a great read!

A silly but entertaining story

If you like your stories packed with gratuitous anime references and random reef animals I can recommend this story

Its a good story, once you get to the story.

If It weren't for the fact that I really like Phil Thron as a narrator (mostly from Space Team) then I would have given up on this book about half way through. I love the story, don't get me wrong, Ij just think its belabored in unnecessary references, complex mechanics for its game world, and stuff that doesn't really work very well in audiobook format. Once he actually gets going though I enjoyed the story a lot, but it was hard to get to that point. I hope the next book skips all the unnecessary complexity stuff and just gets to the narrative. Honestly this might have been better without any of the litrrpg bones just the lore of a general fantasy where a crab gets turned into a sapient creature.

Shocked and amazed

I never expected to love this book as much as I do.

In some respects, it’s not unlike a very PG Neven Iliev Boxxy book. It still has that distinctive Rimmel flavor, but with some unfamiliar complementary notes in there that must be Boe Hagen. I look forward to seeing both of your future projects.

(As a Noobs fan, admittedly more the former, but I expect good things from the latter as well.)
