What disappointed you about The Art of Mingling?
This is really a stupid book. That may not be a very sophisticated way to phrase this, but it is the only way I can think to describe it. I thought it might help me with some artful ways to start conversations with people I don't know—plus, provide some other creative ways to navigate a social gathering--but it doesn't. Most all of the suggestions are pedantic and lame. Don't be fooled into buying it.What was most disappointing about Jeanne Martinet’s story?
