Accompanied by a dwarf named Brenwar Bolderguild, the brazen warriors clash against the world full of orcs, elves, ogres, trolls, goblins, and men in order to save his brethren.

But unforeseen dangers lurk in the shadows. The sinister scheme of High Priestess Selene and her dragon master, Gorn Grattack, threaten all of dragonkind. And in a moment of violent fury, Nath is cursed for all time.

Now, Nath - armed with the magical sword called Fang - sets out on a perilous path toward redemption. At its end, the ultimate battle awaits him, when he must confront the powerful evil lurking within and the wicked dragon army sworn to defeat him. The Chronicles of Dragon Collection: Series 1 Omnibus

I really enjoyed this audio book. I enjoyed it so much that I turned right around and listened to it a second time. The sound effects reminded me of an old time radio program story that we would listened to before television was invented.

For kids

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

The audible is dramatized to help kids enjoy it but the straight text is much better. The music and sound effects drag the story down and make the characters hard to enjoy.

Would you recommend The Chronicles of Dragon Collection: Series 1 Omnibus, Books 1-10 to your friends? Why or why not?

I might recommend it to a 5th grader.

What didn’t you like about Lee Alan’s performance?

He did not stutter... if that is a like?

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No

great book

seemed to pull from other books but you would only notice that if you read the other books first in and of itself it was a great story

The Chronicles of Dragon

This story is very good. Would be a good story for summer travelers. Good world building and character development. The only part that I disliked was the over dramatization of the narrator on occasion and I could have done without the background music, all of which are personal preferences and shouldn't be used to sway a buyer.

decent

Story line was ok, didn't care for the sound effects and to many long breaks in the recording. good character build up but final scene could have been better.

Worth a Listen BUT

I don't think a point or concept needs to be belabored to be made: the hero IS stupid.

unnecessary poop talk

I really liked this narrator, and even the story premise and friendship. But at one point they had a whole conversation about poop, and it wasn't in a humorous way. I'm a boy mom and comforatable with poop talk and jokes, but it really took away from the story and I didn't want to listen anymore. maybe it got better, but at least that part was very strange.

Good story, Sound effects not too overbearing.

Good story of the battle everyone faces between the forces of light and dark within and without. The narrator does a fair job however the constant mispronouncing of fantasy creatures, such as "GaNolls" , "GaNomes" all the silent G's are pronounced. Chimera does NOT sound like the ch in child, does get annoying

Careful if picky about sound quality

The narration is great, but it's clearly low budget recording. Better quality audio devices and stronger hearing will make that painfully notable. However, once your ears adjust (if able), it's not as awful and you can still enjoy the series.

.

The story itself is very basic, but it does what's required of it. The author knows exactly what they want to tell and so very little is left to question. I remember having wanted more delved into, but it definitely ended on a good spot (it has a sequel)

But if you abhor time skips, you'll need to skip this.

.

Only problem I've got with the narration, aside from the low budget recording, is they're not very good at women. Every woman portrayed has roughly the same exact voice (despite men and beasts having more distinct ones), but thankfully, the narrator knows how to keep them in character so it wasn't too difficult with the few consistent women.
