😈 Demon

I don't know why the title of the book is The Dragon and the Djinn. I felt the Djinn played such a small part not strong enough to be in the title. It should have been The Dragon and the Demon.

OK but...

This book has more the feel of short stories loosely connected. The Dragon Knight was briefly a dragon only in a very early chapter. That chapter had nothing to do with the theme. I don't think Djinn had a total of one chapter. For a supposedly powerful entity the Djinn's part was very, very small. It wasn't as good as the first books. The performance was excellent and that enhanced the story.

I wish they'd make a TV series

this is a terribly overlooked series. It's clean,, it's family-friendly it's doesn't shy from the legitimacy of the time period that they live in. I have grown very attached to James, Angela Bryan, Hob, S. Carolinas and all the others this is legitimately one of the best series ever read
