The Emerald Queen: A Legends of Ansu Fantasy, my sixth read from author J.W. Webb. Great characters, non-stop action, a great read/listen, my first read not about Corin an Fol, but written in the same style. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing. Andrew McDermott’s excellent narration & accent again add to the book's enjoyment. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Enjoyable

same world as the rest of JW Webb's book if you enjoyed the others you will enjoy reading and/or listening to this book, but by no means do you have to already read any of the other books; you can start with this one.

This book is much more into the fantasy realm than his other books. It can be read as a stand alone book, which I think is a plus! I do enjoy J.W. Webb’s writing. This book is fantasy with lots of new gods and goddesses, but it is also a quest, and it has elements of the horror genre with a creepy forest that changes positions. It was much more involved that his other books and you have to keep up with the different groups of people or you might get a little lost. It is a bit more dark but he does throw in comical people and moments too. I did highly enjoy the book and would recommend it. The narration was great as always.

Exciting fantasy and so much more!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. As I've mentioned before, anything Andrew McDermott narrates is a book I'll listen to! This story fortunately can stand on its own as well! The characters are interesting and well developed. The story world is detailed and interesting. The book is well written and I recommend it for sword and sorcery or fantasy fans! I'm looking forward to the other books in this series!

Great start to a new series!

Loved hearing the story continue for some of my favorite characters. I could listen to Andrew McDermot read all day. And yes, I have listened to him all day. J.W. Webb really knows how to keep his readers enthralled. Thank you both!
