Publisher's summary

Jack Jenkins is dying for some action. After surviving the attack of the Iron Count, he and his superteam, the Knuckleheads, are basking in their success. Things at the University are quiet once again. Maybe too quiet.

But when a seductive cat burglar drops in on campus, Jack can’t resist pinning down her game before she pounces on someone he cares about.

On top of that: a violent foe has arrived in the city, the terrifying and brilliant Mechaharpy. Will Jack be able to stop her nefarious plans before it’s too late? Can he defend his college, his friends, and his unconventional relationships? He’ll find out when he steps into the next level of the Hero Game.

Like popcorn

I enjoyed it. I would love more exploration of the world building but I enjoyed it either way. No issues with the narration, but damn do I wish they didn’t have to say the names every time a text is read.
