About this listen

Since the dawn of civilization, men and women have been magnetically and irresistibly drawn together into romantic relationships, not so much by what they see, feel and think, but more by invisible forces. When individuals with healthy emotional backgrounds meet, the irresistible love force creates a sustainable, reciprocal and stable relationship. Codependents and emotional manipulators are similarly enveloped in a seductive dreamlike state; however, it will later unfold into a painful seesaw of love, pain, hope and disappointment. The soul mate of the codependent's dreams will become the emotional manipulator of their nightmares. Listeners of the Human Magnet Syndrome will better understand why they, despite their dreams for true love, find themselves hopelessly and painfully in love with partners who hurt them. This audiobook will guide and inspire both the layman and the professional.

Anyone (namely a co-dependent) who has experienced a marriage or relationship with a narcissist will undoubtedly benefit from Mr. Rosenburgs scholarly and objective approach to personality disorders from one end of the self continuum to the other. A phenomenal read (or listen in my case) that will provide those of us who have suffered in relationships (not knowing why)... the answers we desperately seek. Thank you Mr. Rosenberg for sharing your knowledge, wisdom and experiences that have provided enlightenment that, until now.... I have sought unsuccessfully for many years. Well done!

Awesome book, explains in detail so well, and helps understand how emotional manipulators think and behave the way they do as well as codependents

I read the other human magnet subsume m syndrome book about 5 years ago but got pulled back into another codependent relationship with someone from my past and had to revisit the topic. Great info, very repetitive, didn’t love the narrator’s accent. Still recommend.

Informative but dragged out at times. Overall helpful for those seeking understanding of why codependents seem to be enmeshed in relationships with those with cluster B personalities and how to break out of the dysfunctional patterns.

Informative
