Secrets. Lies. Murder. Let the festivities begin…

It’s the opening night of The Manor, the newest and hottest luxury resort, and no expense, small or large, has been spared. The infinity pool sparkles; the “Manor Mule” cocktail (grapefruit, ginger, vodka, and a dash of CBD oil) is being poured with a heavy hand. Everyone is wearing linen.

But under the burning midsummer sun, darkness stirs. Old friends and enemies circulate among the guests. Just outside the Manor’s immaculately kept grounds, an ancient forest bristles with secrets. And it’s not too long before the local police are called. Turns out the past has crashed the party, with deadly results.

THE GIRLBOSS · THE HUSBAND · THE KITCHEN HELP · THE MYSTERY GUEST

Everyone’s got a secret. Everyone’s got an agenda. But not everyone will survive…The Midnight Feast

Mid Summer Paint by Numbers

There is literally nothing new here and if you’ve ever read a mystery before you will see the story unfold a mile away. Can’t recommend.

Worth the read

I love a plot that ties up nicely...the mystery intertwined and kept the suspense... I did not love the witchcraft aspect. But, it was certainly a worthwhile credit!

Easy voices to listen too

The story is interesting but not as suspenseful as anticipated. It took a long time to get into the thick of it.

Eh not my favorite - a little convoluted

This book was OK. It was a little harder to follow than some of her other books. I really enjoy her writing style normally but this one seemed far-fetched and wasn’t that interesting to me. I got through it but it was not on my list of greats.

The narration was stellar

Another great read from Foley. Might be my favorite of hers. It’s a little bit spooky and filled with distinct characters and paced so well you won’t want to put it down. :) Well worth the credit!
