I love first contact stories with the main character being military/veteran. I like the story except for the main character Gordy who is being portrayed as the typical "ugly American".

Character and Story that inspire you to want to keep listening. Jamie is very good at creating a fun adventure that draws you in. My only complaint is I have to wait for him to write the next book.

Jamie does it again.

The story builds at a good pace with character development. Lead character is an example of all the pieces of what makes a good leader. Identify a problem, develop options, take appropriate action. Looking forward to the next book.

Very entertaining

I greatly enjoyed the story, it was quite engaging. for a broader audience I appreciate the control (rather lack of) 'coarse' language. What did get me was the apparent lack of transition. such as being 3 days away from something but feeling like it picked up in the next sentence with zero separation. but still great, fun, and highly reccomended to others looking for a good read.

Fast paced adventure
