Mostly good

It was mostly well written and performed. The author knows dialogue and action. Unfortunately, the author knows NOTHING about guns and American gun culture. Persistently calling magazines "clips" is just one example of MANY glaring errors of civilian guns and that isn't even touching on the glaring errors on military service.

Nice additions to the movie

This is basically the script, but with many solid additional details. I rewatched the movie afterward and it is more fun than the movie - and I enjoyed the movie for what it is.

Better than the movie!

It pretty much follows the movie word for word. But it’s better explaining curtain situations in more detail. It’s a worth while listen.

best movie tie-in novel ever

Having seen the movie first, I was not sure what to expect. This was incredibly well-written, the characters had a tremendous depth, and the action/adventure element well-done. Though with traeger I kind of wondered a bit about his own motivation other than wanting to be a alpha male. I would have loved to have seen the story continue, especially with Dr. brackett, Rory and Quinn McKenna. Unfortunately likely will not happen but it would still be cool if they did a sequel to this. I thought it was funny, dark, and incredibly violent, but still an enjoyable re ad. It might not be the best of the Predator franchise, but definitely one of the best movie tie-in novels I've ever read.

Huge fan of anything Predator related!

But the narrator is awful for this story. He’s completely monotone regardless of what character he is portraying. Man, Woman, or Alien, it doesn’t matter. It feels like he’s just phoning it in in order to get a check. No emotion, no power, no “essence” for the characters and the story. Very disappointed with this guy.

The story or the novelization of the film was on par with most of this type of genre. Now all we need is for the Predator Race to come together with the Human Race and start fighting with the Xenomorph (Alien) Race.

This has already been touched on in several other stories a while ago, but it should continue to be fleshed-out and developed further.
