About this listen

The thing about Artem...

It's a damn hard city to live in if you haven't got creds, and for creds, you need opportunities.

The thing about opportunities... They're thin on the ground for Orcs, one of the most reviled races in the sprawling city.

If you happen to be an Orc left for dead on the frontlines of Artem's roving monster problem and stranded outside its immense city walls, then you're doubly screwed—like Oshbob.

The thing about Oshbob... He's tough, and he's pissed!

With a will to survive like few others, he's determined never to be subject to the whims of the elite ever again.

He's gonna make something of himself. No matter the cost to those around him...

It's a romp and it doesn't slow down

Great bang for the buck, too, at 18 hours. Author told a good, compelling story and the performers did a wonderful job. I'm a big fan of Neil Hellegers specifically

Hot damn it’s good

Beautiful mix of fantasy and cyberpunk with the sexy voice of Neil H. Really good work and just leaves ya with the readers equivalent of blue balls. Ya just want more and feel teased when it’s over.
Good shit.

Absolute Must-Listen!

The Rise of Oshbob by Kevin Sinclair is an absolute must-listen for sci-fi and body mod enthusiasts! Sinclair has crafted a vivid and immersive world, and the creativity behind the body modifications is both unique and fascinating. It adds so much depth to the story, giving it a gritty, futuristic feel that kept me hooked.

The narration by Neil Hellegers and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker takes the experience to the next level. Hellegers' tone brings the intensity and action scenes alive, while Nemeth-Parker balances it out with depth and warmth. Together, they make the story an incredibly engaging experience. If you're a fan of captivating sci-fi and fantastic narrations, The Rise of Oshbob is a must-add to your Audible library!

A great entry into a whole new world

The rise of Oshbob was certainly a fun read. a vastly different take on LitRPG and in a major universe shared by three other authors. I can't even imagine the challenge behind it all. A like the dark and gritty vibe the book has. I think Oshbob was actually softer than what I expected, but was certainly a great character and had a ton of depth to him. A great story that Kevin has added to his portfolio and one I certainly enjoyed.

Artem is fing cool!!!!

For not being a litrpg couldn't stop listening. All action was short and quick mostly focusing and character development and the rise of a new Orc mob boss! Bonus.....the narrator is my favorite.

Not what i expected, and definately better than what i thought it would be.

I really didnt know what to expect going into this book. I thought it would be a boring series, never really bieng a fan of multi-author sieries. but this title makes me wonder if the others are any good if not just as good as this one. Cyberpunk-fantasy with cyber moded orks, elfs and goblins, totally worth my time and credit. I have been waiting for a decent cyberpunk fantasy, but never found the right one. I think this one's the right fit. Im looking foward for more action packed brawls with cybertech enhanced goons. Also im gonna look into the other authors books in this sieries.

Pretty good urban fantasy

I’ll give this 5 stars just because it’s a pretty decent urban fantasy that isn’t a litrpg. About the only time you hear anything close to game mechanics is when they’re talking about their stats is when they discuss the implanted communication devices. It’s nice to see some new adult fantasy that doesn’t involve a bunch of weird harem stuff or any litrpg
