About this listen

Earth...Population: 1

Her name is Eve14.

She is the result of a 1000-year project by the robots of Earth to restore the planet after all life was wiped out in 2065.

27 robotic minds, copied from Earth's great scientists, carried on after the species died. They mixed and matched those minds in endless combinations, producing a whole race of machines with human personalities. Immortal, but with memories of sensations they can no longer experience, some renegade robots now have a daring agenda.

They want human bodies.

As the only viable human host on Earth, Eve14 is on everyone's most wanted list.

Robot Geneticists is a series set on Earth in a distant future. Fans of Asimov and the sci-fi titans of the Golden Age of sci-fi will love the classic elements reimagined in modern style.

Robots are robots. Scientists think on a grandiose scale. Anything is possible with science, willpower, and hard work.

Great value on a long, but fun story

It's a unique story concept that plays out well for young adults and Sci Fi Fantasy lovers.
I liked that it was original, had great character development (for the most part) and was a fun story.
It starts great with solid main characters, plot, and action. While still enjoyable, it drifts into long story add ons that are a bit dulled as the tale progresses. Some story offshoots are ok, others are a bit.. unnecessarily lengthy .. And really.. Unnecessary.
That said, it's solid writing, good mental imagery and has a engaging cast of characters . It's not a 5/5 given the parts that could have been edited out without loss, but there is 5 Star value for a single credit. I won't promise you'll love it endlessly, but I promise, if this relatively innocent fun is your genre, it's a crazy good 5 star credit value. Worth a listen!

brilliant

I have always been a Morin fan. After the first book, I was skeptical. But the end of the final chapter of the last book, I was in tears. Bravo....Bravo!

Enjoyable Heinlein like romp.

This is a fun series by an author that is not afraid to tell a story.
The narration is top notch on a level with RC Bray and like Bray brought out the best in the story.
Bravo to the author and narrator.

No, I totally didn't buy this twice...

So, I bought this under the old title and with a different narrator. However, since I have listened to Mikael Naramore in the rest of J.S. Morin's series my brain just put him in my memories of this book. When I went back to re-listen to this series under the old narrator my brain rejected it. So, when I saw this re-release I picked it up just to sate my brain's OCD.

That being said, it was already fantastic, so this version is as well. Mikael is an amazing narrator and I highly recommend J.S. Morin's other series as well if you enjoyed this one.

J.S Morin and Mikael Naramore perfect Duo!
I've listened to almost every book written by J.S Morin. And Mikael Naramore is definitely the best Narrator out there. Really just a fantastic Duo those two!

A fascinating imagined future

Earth in the year 3065, humans were wiped out 1000 years ago, however, shortly beforehand, 27 scientists were able to upload their minds to robotic forms. Over the years these robots worked together and restored the planet and worked to restart humanity through genetic research. They were successful in Eve14. By the time of her arrival and consciousness, there are thousands of robots working together to restore the planet and prepare it for the resurgence of life. Throughout the series, the author brings you through the corruption of robots seeking to be downloaded into a human form, the rebirth of humanity and those seeking to restore their place and rights as leaders in the world, political unrest among those seeking to become the leaders of the new human race, and the expansion beyond Earth and those seeking independence from their former home. It's a fascinating and thought-provoking world. The narrator is absolutely phenomenal in everything he's worked on. This series will keep you wanting more. You will not be disappointed.

Great story, perfect narration.

While superficially this looks like a low quality book that baits you with its running time, nothing could be further from the truth. Hooked from start to finish. Naramore's narration couldn't be better and he does an amazing job with both the male and female characters.

Fantastic story, beautifully told

J.S. Morin did it again with a fantastic story set in Earth’s future and Michael Naramore did a great job ago giving voice to the characters.

This is the story of a young lady’s growth and evolution through love, death, and robots. There is enough comedy to keep it light, enough action to keep the story moving quickly, enough tension to keep you listening through the next chapter, and enough well-rounded characters to make you care. Two thumbs up.
