About this listen
Told in a voice that is timeless in its message of understanding, The Road Less Traveled continues to enable us to explore the nature of loving relationships and leads us toward a new serenity and fullness of life. It helps us determine how to distinguish dependency from love; how to become a more sensitive parent; and ultimately how to become one's own true self.
Recognizing that "Life is difficult" and that the journey to spiritual growth is a long one, Dr. Peck never bullies his listeners, but gently guides them through the hard and often painful process of change toward a higher level of self-understanding.
Combining profound psychological insight and deep spirituality, this is an audiobook that provides inspiration and understanding.

Story
In Volume 3, Dr. Peck explores the largely unknown world of possession and exorcism. He also describes the unique relationship between group evil and individual evil, demonstrating how one person can affect or be affected by the actions and attitudes of a group. Drawing on his experiences as a psychiatrist and his observations of vivid incidents of evil in today's society. Dr. Peck takes us further into the dark side of the human psyche.

Story
Much of our business thinking is shaped by delusions that distort our understanding of the real reasons for a company's performance. The most pervasive delusion is the Halo Effect. When a company's sales and profits are up, people often conclude that it has a brilliant strategy, a visionary leader, capable employees, and a superb corporate culture. When performance falters, they conclude the opposite. In fact, little may have changed.

In 2015, Inc. magazine recognized Noonday Collection as one of the fastest-growing companies in America. Years earlier, as Jessica Honegger stood at a pawn-shop counter in Austin, Texas, and handed over her grandmother's gold jewelry, her goal was personal: to fund the adoption of her Rwandan son by selling artisan-made jewelry. This first step launched an unexpected side-hustle that would grow into Noonday Collection. She teamed up with her first artisan partner, Jalia, a Ugandan jewelry maker and saw the meaningful impact Noonday brought to Jalia's community.

I've read it. I listen when I need reminders.
I read The Road Less Traveled 25 years ago. It changed my life for the better. This abridged version is helpful for remembering the lessons learned when I feel like things are falling apart again.

Phenomenal
It was a hard book to swallow because the author is constantly throwing profound truths at you. It will challenge the way you think about yourself and those around you. It was a grand encouragement in a world that likes to water down inward truths. Like me, may it spur you on in spiritual growth. If you r not a Christian do not let it deter you from this great read, anyone can take something from it. Enjoy 😉

Wish I read this sooner
I've already started on the path of healing. I think this book is great to start recovering from depression etc, but it doesn't really teach you how to heal per-say. The biggest take away for me was life is painful and accept that. Being an adult means handling discomfort and making choices that grow you. Love and pain make us better people. Put yourself out there and be conscious of your perspective in life. Know that You and only you have final say to what's best for you. Take risks, have faith, see the light in yourself and don't be lazy. He spends a lot of time on not being lazy. He even says to be lazy is a form of evil. Resist it. And finally Joy is in mastery.
