About this listen

Fate waits for no man. Not even Viktor Warden...

After living through a bloody encounter with the mysterious Cult of Fenrir 20 years ago, Viktor returns to New Orleans, hoping to forget the horrors he endured. He keeps busy dealing with unusual cases as head of a global security firm specializing in paranormal threats.

For once in his long life, everything seems to have fallen into balance.

But Fate has a funny way of catching up with a person. And this time it’s bringing his past - and possibly the end of the world - along for the ride.

When old enemies rise again, stronger than ever, Viktor is thrust into a long-forgotten world filled with darkness and supernatural threats. Worse yet, it turns out that the Cult of Fenrir is far from defeated - and they’re hell-bent on enacting their revenge on him.

Now Viktor must come face to face with the painful past he cannot seem to recall, or else. It’s the only hope he has of saving the world one last time.

A blend of Norse mythology, urban fantasy, and adventure, The Wanderer Awakens will take you on a dark adventure through the stars, into the depths, and beyond.

The Wanderer Awakens is an incredibly entertaining and enjoyable mythological urban fantasy story. The story’s lead character is a bad mammer jammer with a mysterious past that slowly unfolds as the story gracefully rolls along. The support characters are entertaining & have depth as well. It was definitely an interesting and captivating story that held my attention waiting on the next surprise. The narrator did a great job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

For the first time I'm left semi speechless. When I first started this book, I wouldn't of guessed the reveal of the main characters real name. I would of been clueless if quizzed. However as the book went longer & deeper it became a little more clearer of what was going on without being said. I don't want to give anything away, but right at the end, the confirmation of my theory, it felt like it hit me a little different then other times.

Well I'll be..
