School is out and summer has begun. For 11 year old Timmy Quinn and his best friend Pete Marshall, the dreary town of Delaware, Ohio becomes a place of magic, hidden treasure and discovery. Its a good paranormal mystery but it does have have child abuse mentioned. It is a fairly short book but has a lot packed into it. Suspense, good mystery, ghosts, and murder. Good narration!

This story seems meandering at times with intent. The sudden maelstrom surprised me as did the final outcome. While I think there's room for the author's improvement, I throughly enjoyed this short story.
