About this listen

A hockey romance performed by a full cast including Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton, Jason Clarke and Connor Crais!

I swear I only asked one hot hockey-playing friend to give me romance lessons for the week, but three hockey stars volunteered.

The post breakup plan was simple escape from my toxic ex to a vacation rental and stay far away from men.

But thanks to a booking snafu I'm accidentally sharing it with three hot hockey players. One's flirty, one's broody, one's a cheeky Brit, and they're all the most attentive men I've ever met.

After a couple of glasses of champagne, I'm telling them about the contest my ex is running on his dating advice web site. The topic? What makes a great boyfriend, and I want to submit a column.

All three offer to show me every single thing I've been missing in and out of bed.

We make a deal for one week only. It's only for revenge, of course. I work for the other hockey team in the city so it'd be a big mistake to truly get involved with a rival, let alone three.

Even though I melt under their touch. They show me what it means to be adored, cherished and romanced.

But as the week ticks on, what started as revenge fast turns into me giving my heart to three men I can't have. Looks like I'm well and truly pucked.

So much naughty fun!

Knowing that this story starts with a stolen cat and then learning HOW it takes place are two completely separate things and definitely sets the stage for the rest of the story. In true Lauren Blakely fashion and in her idyllic world where love is love and trolls stay under the bridge we can explore the human experience with the well-written dialogue and banter we know and love. Have a fan and plenty of water before you dive in for Briar, Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin. Each character has contributing backstory and motivations going into this friends and rivals to lovers, forced proximity, limited why-choose fling that ends up burning them all to the ground (and taking us with them). I love the open communication, and of course the beyond-spicy explorations in loving yourself and exploring what brings you joy. Briar learns an important lesson and is duly rewarded. Sign me up!

The narration is fantastic! Samantha Brentmoor has been simply fantastic in this series, and is perfect for Briar! Teddy Hamilton, Connor Crais and Jason Clarke are swoony, wonderful, smexy, and fantastic in this hockey romance with several twists. Excellent spice and truly wonderful performances by all make this an excellent adventure! Definitely hot stuff with swoony banter and great characters!!

Epic!

This book was glorious!

You wouldn’t think that three guys who aren’t into each other could work as a part of a relationship but yet Lauren writes these hockey boys as teammates who know how to play well together as well as communicate. They are all also really good friends before they step up to share their woman.

This is the fourth book in the multiple men and one women series but I’m happy to see that Lauren is going to continue the hockey world with the sister of one of the guys from book one in the series and one of his teammates!

Ok now back to this book! I love how they went from friendly, to friends, to bedroom partners to life partners with ease.

There was no breakup, there was only a tiny thing early on in regards to Gavin wanting her but not being brave enough to say anything but she talks to Hollis and Reese about having him join and that’s all “she wrote” lol

They all find a way to tell her their feelings without pushing her and she decided she wanted more and blurted it out and the perfect time!

This audio book was a masterpiece too! Four narrators in duet style!

Jason Clarke playing and Englishmen is perfection personified lol the only way that character could have been played better was if a natural English narrator had been used. And we are talking taking it from a 9 to a 10 with that lol Jason does not disappoint.

Teddy Hamilton and Connor Crais play the other two male characters and they were amazing as always!

Samantha Brentmoor was the female narrator in this and voiced all of the female characters. She is such a talent and is so sweet too! I adore her voice and vocal styling!

Fabulous!!

Oh my wow!! Can you say three times the fun in more ways than one! Briar hit the man lottery when Gavin, Hollis and Rhys stopped to save the day from her cheating, cat stealing ex. What started out being a nightmare turned out to be the beginning of something epic! Briar is a woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask for it. Who knew three sexy hockey players could be the relationship dreams are made of. Not only are they sweet, chivalrous, and sexy, they are just plain good and know how to please the woman that they love. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the audiobook was the icing on the cake!

The Stanley Cup of the Series

Well and Truly Pucked is the fourth and final book in the My Hockey Romance series by Lauren Blakely and boy did she save the best for last. Up till now, we’ve seen throuples with two hunky hockey players and a bad ass female. This time, she stepped it up and added one more player, and more spice than ever. Brair is a yoga teacher, just wanting to move on from her Ex and get her cat back. In comes Hollis, Rhys and Gavin, three hockey player buddies all with a crush on the hot yoga teacher. The universe seems to keep throwing these four together. After the boys help her get her cat back, and have another chance run in, they all end up staying in the same vacation cabin for a festival by mistake. During a night hanging out with Hollis, Brair admits to him that she has struggled reaching that magic O in the past. So of course, Hollis offers to help her, and when Rhys and Gavin find out they all want a turn. The three of them decide to show her how a REAL Boyfriend should treat her, in and out of the bedroom and all at once. And what better way to stick it to her Ex then to write an essay about how well her three men are treating her and submitting it to the “What Makes a Great Boyfriend contest” hosted by his dating advice website. But while they show her how to make a great boyfriend, she is showing them what love, and trust is and that maybe they can be more. And the cherry on top of it all, Brair also has an adorable dachshund named Donut.

This book was narrated in duet by Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton, Connor Crais and Jason Clarke and boy did they knock it out of the park…or should I say arena? Samantha has carried this series through by narrating all the female, but I think Brair was my favorite. Her fun and flirty way of narration was perfect for Brair. How she could switch and go flirty and sultry in the span of a sentence is just…Chefs kiss. Teddy fit his character of Hollis to a T, with his lovable, cool, and laid-back way but boy can his bedroom voice make you blush. Connors growly grumbly tone was a perfect addition as the dominate character of Gavin. And last but NEVER least, Jason with a British accent. I mean…need I say more? He was a perfect Rhys. The four of them together, was as perfect as a breakaway goal, with thirty seconds left in game seven to win the Stanley cup.

I really loved this book; I think it was a perfect ending to a very fun and super spicy series. I mean who wouldn’t want to be Brair in this situation, three gentlemen in the streets but freak in the sheet’s hockey players, a cat, and an adorable dog. Sounds pretty perfect to me.

Hilarious, heartfelt and super hot and sizzling!

This is another fun and spicey romance in Blakely's 'why choose' hockey romance series! Briar is in a hilarious predicament, when three hockey hotties happen by, while she is trying to retrieve her cat from her ex's apartment. They recognize her as the hot yoga teacher that they are attracted to, so they happily help her out. When they later have another chance meeting, they all happen to be booked together at the same rental when they are working at a local festival. Briar is attracted to Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin, who all have very different personalities, but fit so perfectly together. She hasn't had any luck in the 'O' department and Hollis offers to help. When Rhys and Gavin arrive, they are more than willing to show Briar how a good man would take care of the woman he cares for. Briar soon finds out that what she always needed was these three fun, thoughtful, and adoring men. After a week of fun games, and hot steamy nights, what will happen when they have to go back to their busy lives, that includes Briar working for their rival team? Will they be able to forget the connection they all have, or will they be brave enough to fight for each other? I fell hard for Briar, Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin and cheered hard for their HEA. I really enjoyed the authenticity of their slow-burn relationship as they organically came together with a genuine 'why choose' attitude that brought them together so beautifully.
Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, and Teddy Hamilton are absolutely fantastic in this full cast narration! Brentmoor really brings her 'A' game as she easily portrays Briar with her vulnerabilities growing into a confident woman and seductress. I loved Clarke's accent as he plays the cheeky Brit, Rhys. Crais was perfect as the surly voyeur who loves to direct the fun. Hamilton brings a sweet and fun flirtiness that completes their ménage. They all bring their own unique flair that makes their characters come alive, making this an engaging performance and listen.
I loved the witty banter, the charming characters, and the hilarious, heartfelt and super hot and sizzling story that is a definite hat-trick!
