About this listen

An Elondrian ambassador and his wife are kidnapped by the overlord of Cylmar, and Ayrion finds himself being whisked away in the middle of the night to save them.

Not even given the chance to tell his tribe that he is being sent on a secret mission, Ayrion and Room Eleven find themselves being forced to sneak behind enemy lines.

Unfortunately, as Ayrion’s luck usually holds, nothing goes according to plan.

With this being Ayrion’s first time to lead a mission, he doesn’t want to fail, but the deeper into enemy territory they get, the more likely that outcome becomes.

Warning: There are a couple of darker scenes in this book from the previous four as Ayrion now reaches his late teens.

A fitting end

This book focuses on more of Arion's life as a Lancer leaving his time with the tribe for the end. It seems to follow how we change as we grow up and get new responsibilities. I loved this book as much as the others in this series. I will definitely read them again.

Great Series

Michael Wisehart is definitely one of the top fantasy writers out there now! Top 5 in my list of authors and Tim Gerard Reynolds is still the best out there, no slight to Steven Brand

👩‍🍳🤌💋

It was fantastic. Michael Wisehart brings his characters to life in a way that I rarely see. The narration by Tim Gerard Reynolds was flawless as always. Can't wait for more from this incredible team.

Deja Vu

Always love the books. I know this was a bit of a filler book for 90% of it but it was a nice little enjoyable adventure. I thought the last book lacked something going on for much of it. Is it just me or do the twin brothers in the story sound sooooo very familiar, like I've read about these guys before. Anyone else have a Deja Vu moment reading that part of the story from some other series?

What a great series!

A good balance of character growth and adventure. I hope we get another series on the next chapter of their lives! Also as always, Tim nailed the narration!

Complete

I find myself wanting more even though the author has skillfully ended the story. He leaves opening for at least two more books if not three. This shows just how good he is. And Mr. Reynolds narrative is superb as always. I wish to thank both of you for the hours of enjoyment.
