About this listen

A Kingdom held hostage. A thief lost in time. The battle to seal Elsewhere has begun.

The villainous Drad Redstar has won the favor of king and country after leading a decisive victory over the rebels at Winde Port. Now with a seat on the royal council, he condemns Torsten to a lifetime in the dungeon and invites his militant people to take up residence in the capital. But not all light has been squelched. There is one disgraced King’s Shieldsman left who remains loyal to Torsten, and only he can help free the Glass Kingdom from Redstar and his dark desires to revive the Buried Goddess.

Across the known world, Sora deals with the loss of her one and only friend. She seeks out a Mystic of the Panping; someone who can help her figure out what really happened to Whitney in a journey that illuminates her past and present. With the true nature of magic revealed to her, she finds that Whitney is lost in Elsewhere, the world between worlds, and she’ll stop at nothing to bring him back.

As magic and war collide in Will of Fire, the third installment in the Buried Goddess Saga, the fate of the entire world will change.

Series keeps getting better

I received a copy of this book for review, but I leave this review of my own accord.

The first two books in this series are quite good, but they are a bit short and so character development can be a little lacking, but they are otherwise well-written and a lot of fun. This third installment, though, really makes up for the lack of character development, especially in Whitney.

I enjoyed all four of the character arcs presented, and I was pleasantly surprised once I realized the 'main cast' seemed to be expanding to include another character receiving narrative chapters. Each character has their own journey to go on. Redemption, realization, leaning about their past, etc. All of it is well done.

I fully expected this to be the last book of the series, but now I cant wait for the next one.

Even being dead can not stop the open mind.

In this novel we find out the true power of Sora. And where Sora originally came from. Will she have the power to save Whitney. Will she have the power to save the glass Kingdom. will the Two Worlds merge as one. All these and many more questions will be answered when listening to this book. As always Luke Daniels brings the characters well to life. these books yes should be made into movies. Enjoy listening to this book it is far more exciting than the other books in the series. Especially the ending.

I want to see this book as a movie it was that great yes it was a very long write 17 hours it's not an easy length portable but when the book is written in such a manner that you can't go to sleep because you want to listen to this smoke even when you're listening in a very high speed you just want to know if you just need to know what happened in the story with those characters it was fantastic colorful realistic fantastical everything and I loved it and adore that
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review

good series, looking forward to the next one.

I have enjoyed the series but prefer a male and female narrator instead of one person trying to make up a distinctive voice for multiple characters, especially if it's two sexes.

Whitney's Back at it Again

Will of Fire continues the great world building of the Buried Goddess Saga and left me wanting the next book to be released already! I was very satisfied with the backstory we got for both Whitney and Sora and loved the conclusion to a main story arc (no spoilers here!). It's been an adventure getting to see the main characters grow from book to book and I'm very much looking forward to seeing what new messes Whitney gets himself into and seeing how Sora will bail him out.

Exceptional narrator!

Usually I don't write reviews. That being said... An already enthralling story is brought to life in stunning mind's eye detail with Luke Daniels narration. He could probably read the dictionary and keep your interest for hours. I could swear I'm listening to 8 different people narrating!

So much love for this series!!!

RCB and JC are just the best! I’ve meet RCB and hope to meet JC. LD brings all the characters to life like no other. If I was just reading this story on my own I don’t think I’d had such a strong connection to the characters as I do through the audiobook. I highly recommend all 3 guys in all they do! I’ve listened to LD in other series (Iron Druid Chronicles and Tales of Pell to name a few) and I absolutely loved them all!! RCB, The Roach, BRILLIANT!!! I will be starting Titanborn after this!! Of course I’m also purchasing the Black Badge series by JC and RCB. Love these guys!!!

Just Listen To The Magic!

From the get-go, the novel roped me and wouldn't let me go. Luke Daniels is such a world-class performer and he really brought to life a story that was already truly fantastic (I don't use that term lightly). I'm very eager now for book 4! This saga simply is not what I'd expected from a fantasy series (I've read few). I mean, the first book was good and the second was even better! Now, the third has delivered in spades! Not going to leave any spoilers--just get a copy and enjoy the ride!

great story, performed wonderfully

the only thing keeping me from giving this five stars for story is how obvious it is that these writers draw inspiration from Game of Thrones. that's been pretty obvious since the first book. that being said, why fix what isn't broken. There is a ton of originality here even with that being the case,
and these writers know how to tell a story. I've enjoyed the character development through these books and the pacing has been great despite telling the story through multiple different characters. I was glad to find there is gonna be another book. I cant wait to read it.

the performer is amazing. different voices for everyone made it easy to keep track of whose talking and feel immersed. consitently great performance through each book.

Magic, coming of age, real bad guys,& heros

enjoyed the story it was so fast moving that often you had to listen a bit back. This story had great hero's and villians. The background was intrinsic and so vivid. The big mystery added an entire different aspect ti the out come of this 2nd of three book and left you so of dumbfounded at its abrupt end...got to read book 3...soon. Only negative, it wasn't the magnificent Luke Daniel's best narration, it was ok, His narration are normally flawless and totally memorable, I expected perhaps too much . All and all a very good listen.
