About this listen

David is a cocky Congressman. Joe is a handsome hack hired to dig up dirt. When these two clash, the campaign trail gets steamy!

If you like snarky humor and good, old-fashioned, cat-and-mouse love stories, you'll love Winning His Vote!

Joe is a campaign manager who just helped elect the first Latino Mayor of Nashville. He was riding victory’s high when a call came from the state party chair inviting him to join a gubernatorial race, his first statewide campaign. This was his chance to step into the big leagues, and he couldn’t wait.

David is former Navy SEAL, now popular Congressman representing Middle Tennessee–and candidate for Governor. He’s smart, suave, sexy–and just cocky enough to make Joe’s blood boil.

Along the campaign trail, Joe catches glimpses of the man beneath the cocky mask. Then the campaign takes an unexpected turn, and the pair are forced to work closer than ever.

And that's when....

Winning His Vote is a classic enemies-to-lovers tale steeped in the heat of political battle.

I loved every part of this! this book had a great combination of romance and smut while also explaining and getting the listener invested into the politics going on. It was fast but I loved how the MMCs came to terns with there emotions head on. no 3rd across break up or miscommunication. it's a great example of enemies to friends to lovers! Definitely one of the best free books I've found on audible anx honestly I'd pay for this book any day! Definitely loved it!

I absolutely loved the audio of this book. Dan Levy did a wonderful job with Joe and David's story.

I enjoyed being able to watch the relationship between Joe and David unfold and change as they discovered more about one another. Joe is definitely not David's biggest fan when he is asked to work on his campaign. But once Joe begins to see there is more to him than he originally thought is when their journey together begins. During the campaign David is confronted with so many things from his past that are hard for him to talk about. But seeing Joe help him by listening to his story and supporting him was beautiful. I absolutely loved getting to see David be able to finally live his life and love the person he fell in love with.

4 stars for the story and 5 stars for the audiobook.
I had a good time listening and reading the story.
It has very likeable characters - I especially loved Pete - humour, heat and a glimpse into the inner workings of a political campaign.
I enjoyed how the relationship between Joe and David started off; Joe was NOT a fan and how they changed their tune about one another. They worked very well together, though I did have a bit of whiplash when David made the first move.
It's well written, no unnecessary conflict and a very nice HEA.
The audiobook makes it an even better experience. Narrator, Dan Levy, did an excellent job! Great character distinction, especially love his tones for Pete (Joe's friend) and David. Highly recommend the audio!

This was a good listen, it was an interesting story with great characters and a pretty believable storyline. Narration was done well there were a few questionable voice choices but overall pretty pleasant to listen too.

A cute love story, but it all happened too fast for my taste. From somewhat enemies to lovers rather quickly, and the quick coming-out was a little unbelievable for me.
The narration was okay, but I'd rather have more narrators when a story is told from multiple POVs.
