Publisher's summary

Queen of the fae courts. Faced with an impossible battle. Destined to never be with the Unseelie I love.

The magical tea has worn off. My eyes are wide open. And it’s with horror that I realize the fate of two realms rests on my shoulders, after my mother’s ultimate sacrifice to trap Rubezahl in Underhill.

Terrified humans clamoring for answers, whispered rumors from both Seelie and Unseelie, and a stepmother who seeks the throne for surprising reasons are the least of my troubles.

Rubezahl has returned far sooner than I thought possible. I’m not ready. I can’t win this. And not only that....He has something crucial, if we are to win. He’s taken something I cannot live without.

The place of the final battle has been decided, and two armies will meet. Yet, forces beyond my understanding must be satisfied first - old magics rise, and they demand their dues.

There is no option but to race, and decipher the puzzle, to save the man I love, the friends more important to me than my own life, and humans and fae alike.

Two realms.

Only I can save them.

We’re screwed.

If you can’t get enough of Sarah J. Mass, Holly Black, or Jennifer L. Armentrout, you will love this vibrant world where impossible love, and an explosive pace, will leave you breathless!

Worth the listen!

The power of love is amazing and everlasting! I am so glad that Kallik was able to learn that and pull it with her through the final battle with Rubezhal.
Sacrifice means nothing without someone to sacrifice for, and Kallik of No House, previously an orphan twice over has learned that the hard way in this final battle to save all Fae. Hyacinth, her best friend since the orphanage has never willingly allowed her to go it alone and this book is no different. She’s a fierce character in her own right and yet at times she is the softest shoulder that a new queen could need. Faolan finally bucks up and becomes the man he needs to be, not as the regent of the unseelie, but as Lugh’s grandson and Alli’s equal! I’m so happy Rowan and Devon redeemed themselves as well. The entire cast is so well rounded.
This series has been a wild but entertaining ride. The world building is on point, the characters are relatable and amazing.
So worth it!

A fitting end…

Another great read from Shannon and Kelly. There were many twists and turns… I so didn’t see a lot of that coming. Which is good. The surprises are worth the wait. Lol

Kallick and Lan have a some hard choices to make not only for themselves but for the entirety of the fae. The giant is on the war path, Adair is up to no good, as usual and now…. Things have hit a whole new level of WTF.

One by one they’re making changes for a better future. Now they just have to fight to save what they’ve built. When walls come crashing down around them… the hardest choice they’ll ever have to make falls at their feet.

This was a good end to this trilogy. I can’t to see what these two brilliant story tellers come up with next!

An amazing ending to an amazing trilogy

Wow - that was touch and go - I wasn’t sure what was going to happen!

The ending made me cry - with tears of happiness and sadness.

I loved the voice actor. 5 stars!

This story was just as fast paced and full of action love and camaraderie as all the books in this series

All hail Queen of All Fae

Once again, the authors wrote a gripping, and action packed book.
I was literally on the edge of my seat till the very end.
Queen of All Fae must do what no other Fae Queen or king have been able to do. Kallik’s journey in Underhill is such a treacherous one. I’m so happy she has her friends and loved ones with her while she faced the journey.
The narrator, Elizabeth Evans does a wonderful job portraying Kallik and the other characters. She uses a variety of tones and inflections and she makes the world seem real with her narration.
Will Rubezahl be overtaken? Pick up the third installment to find out! Trust me, it doesn’t disappoint!!

Honor & Justice Above All Else

What more could you want from an epic fantasy book?!? The twists & turns throughout this series were meticulously done yet caught you off guard at the same time. The world St. Clare and Mayer have created is extensive and seems like it has just as much depth to it as Mayer’s Elementals series which is double if not triple it’s size (including spin-off’s).

As the final battle approached, I was nervous since I was only about halfway through, and they throw a giant corkscrew in the plot as if it wasn’t complicated enough as it was. Hang in there though. These authors will give you a “happy for now” ending if you stick with them long enough. But beware. They will throw your heart into a meat grinder before they attempt to put it back together again. You do get a happy ending in the end - of sorts. But mother trucker, that was a difficult ending to get through. I applaud the authors for following the story where it lead and not taking the easy road through the perils of these characters’ journey; but it doesn’t make me like it. Haha. Oh and make sure you brush up on the first two books before delving into this one because they do not stop at all to recap.

I was happy to hear they do plan on writing more in this world because it’s amazing, complex, and ruthless while maintaining a strict code of honor & justice.

Loved it!!

I loved listening to Kallick's story. This book did not disappoint as the final book of a trilogy. There were some twists that I didn't see coming. The narrator is great and made this book easy to listen to. The characters are interesting and had me thinking about the book even when I wasn't listening.
