About this listen

The north is at peace, secured by murder and betrayal and the plotting of treacherous kings.

As half the northern nobility gather in Ilithor for the wedding of Princess Amilia Lukar and the traitorous King Hadrin, Elyon Daecar finds himself drawn into a plot he never expected. One that may see him soar.

Freed from the clutches of the sinister Cecilia Blakewood, Saska travels south in the company of her giant protector, Sir Ralston, and the crew of the Steel Sister. Making for the city of Aram, she finds her journey hindered by the simmering war, as more of the riddle of her past is unraveled.

Far to the south, tensions boil as the Patriots of Lumara continue to stir violence, slaughtering any northman they can find. Jonik and his allies fight back, as the former Shadowknight discovers the truth of his purpose. A holy duty awaits him. But first, he’ll need an army…

At the twin tombs, north and south, the world begins to tremble. Amron Daecar limps into the white wilderness, in search of his salvation, and a world away Lythian Lindar is drawn into a world of monsters and gods. All is connected. The past and the future. The gifts of the fallen gods.

Through the ages their actions echo. And titans will rise again.

Book 3 in this series

I usually like to read series that are completely finished before starting because the wait is unbearable. I’ve told a few about this series because it’s the best I’ve come across. The books are long because there’s so many characters to follow. If a book is great the more pages the better. This did not disappoint. I feel like someone will pick this up and make it into a movie series. Yes it’s that good! Now the waiting begins as I wait for the next books to be released. I think I will be reading this series again and again! Thanks for quality in detail as the characters, feelings and scenery are written so well!

Absolutely incredible!! A++

Very few books have ever captured my imagination and had me immersed so far into a story.
TC’s ability to build suspense and danger and keep it throughout a book of this length for multiple pov’s at the same time like this is masterful storytelling.
This author is legit.

Great book series so far.

I'm going to start by saying, anything Steven Brand reads is gold. This book series has gods, dragons, warriors, killers and ruthless monarchs. I wouldn't say it is the most original in the genre but that is hard to do and TC Edge does enough to be original. The story is complex but not so much as to confuse the listener. I look forward to the 4th book! I would give 5 stars but it just doesn't rise to the level of Sanderson or Jordan.

Better than some A+ fantasy authors

This series is already one of my favorites, and I've read all the giants of the fantasy genre that there is, this beats out many. Dont hesitate like I did I should have started the series sooner
