About this listen

More Barliona adventures from the best-selling author of the Way of the Shaman LitRPG series!

To make a clan does not necessarily mean to make it successful. First you have to walk the hard path from the foundations of your castle to victory in interclan conflicts. Only then will you be recognized. Only then can you be listed among the location's top clans.

Your adversaries, however, will not be sitting around twiddling their thumbs. No dominant clan needs yet another wannabe competitor. Or its two founders. Which is why Kvalen and Eradani are being hunted down. Bugles sound as players sharpen swords and draw arrows. Bring on the show!

Just one thing - have the contestants accounted for all the factors involved in such a dubious undertaking? For in this equation not all the variables are known.

This series continues to be a perfect spinoff to the "Way of the Shaman" series. What a surprise to find nearly all of the original characters making appearances in this second series. It feels like a good continuation with a focus on a new characters and supported by the old ones we have come to love. Way better than the Bards of Barliona spinoff that just fell flat.

Good "Way of the Shaman" spinoff

Well, I liked it but some of the way things were said makes me think that the translation was not done exactly correct. I think differences in culture or knowing what phrases would be normal in English or American as I am are in some ways not said any more or ever. I'll leave it at that. The book was good for me and ill be waiting for the next. Just a thought on Russian authors, seems like they have a way at looking at society and the government a lot differently than where I am from. Really, thought provoking in some ways and I hope what seems inevitable or probable never comes to pass because I like Freedom and all its blessings and failures. Just a thought...

Same tone as first book.
