Publisher's summary

An Action-Packed LitRPG Apocalypse!

The elves took everything. Following a bloodied slaughter of her whole race, and struggling to stay alive, she had no choice but to survive on her own. That was until the world changed. Her entire planet; a whole cluster was introduced to the vast universe by The System, or perhaps God. A universe filled with endless beings and civilizations that fought for power and dominance.

After the integration, Blair finds herself in a forest surrounded by unknown beasts, peril lurking, alone. Alone and with nothing but the mentality to survive, she will have to get stronger in this new unforgiving world of numbers and power.

With nothing but the capability to get stronger, her distant dreams of revenge might just become a reality.

Great story

Great story and narration the only negative is that you don’t need to read trough the whole stat sheet every time she levels up and put in a few attribute points. I hope for the next audiobook at least that you could skip the stat sheet so often it just gets annoying in audiobooks if it’s not easy to skip it.

has lots of potential

a story that starts simple but lays the foundations for an intriguing storyline.
there was some confusion near the end, but at the same time it's understandable for a character to be a bit irrational when faced with so much trauma. curious to see where the story goes in the next book.

how have I not heard of this book.

this book just appeared one day in my recommended and I'm glad I gave it a try. it has primal hunter, defiance of the fall, and a randidly ghosthound vibe so if you like any of those give this a try. even if you don't like those books id still give it a chance.

Thanks for the chapters, Azrie!

A fantastic litrpg apocalypse novel by Azrie with an unconventional protagonist! The narrator did a fantastic job, and the story was engaging from start to end. Can't wait for the next!

it's good

First let me state what I like. I like the main character she is lost and confused and I can sympathize with her character, her interaction with other people is pretty guarded which makes sense. Plus her abilities are really cool. I do like the antagonist as well, I think he really does have potential. overall I think its a good starting point. Now the parts I dislike the story can be pretty slow at times, and on top of that the dialogue just doesn't work well at some points. Also there is a shamless Madara speech plug in at the end, gave me more of a laugh then an actual criticism.

Contradictions

Overall the book is fairly enjoyable, but there are some frustrations with the system and MC contradicting themselves on a regular basis. In the latter's case I do believe it is intentional and being used to develop the character, but I personally find it annoying when people don't commit to their decisions or actions and are halfhearted about whatever it is that they are doing.

In regards to the system I can't give much in the way of details without giving some spoilers, so instead imagine situations like in Iron Man when the one news station called Stark Industries out for being a weapons manufacturer that doesn't make weapons or like in The Incredibles when Mr. Incredible helps the old lady out with her insurance claim. Not sure if the intent is to drive the plot forward in the most convenient way for the author or if there's an actual plot reason, but it got real annoying real fast.

good story, better series

you can tell this is the first book in a series. Lots of great ideas but the execution mixed with the performance wasn't great. I did end up reading the next book in the series and have enjoyed it a lot. Most of the execution flaws were fixed by the second book.

I think this can be great.

I think this is a good story. I like the world and characters. I think there are occasions where too many descriptive words are used and it causes some disassociation. It doesn't make the story less entertaining but it does disrupt the flow.
