For 22 years I helped men regain their vitality and become awesome again, one at a time. My approach as a hypnotherapist had always been client centered. Eventually, compiling what helped most men proved useful for others, and the Awesome Again program was born. Lives were being transformed; wives and children were thanking me for the transformation in their husbands and fathers; men were feeling inspired and useful again.
Then, after a near death experience in December of 2018, I lost all my confidence and faith in life itself. I could not sleep, eat or think. I was not able to meditate. Chest pain was horrible, the cardiac workup revealed abnormal heart beats, but there was no muscle damage. I felt abandoned by the same divinity that had created me. I could not see a way of going on with life without a connection with something bigger than I, which I call the Cosmic. I felt so dead that I questioned whether I had actually come back from the NDE. After visiting several therapists and finding no relief, I remembered the seven steps to become awesome again. I reasoned that I needed a structured program to rebuild my life. I found old notes and begun to work on each of the steps.
It worked! I started feeling better, sleeping better and coming back to life.
I began to realize that there was more to the seven steps than I considered at first; it was no longer my program, it was a program from the all, to all of us. The seven steps had to be published, I could not keep them to myself. Editing and organizing my notes proved futile, so I deleted them all and wrote a new book in 25 days. Only the newly found love for my readers woke me up before 3 am to write each day. I vowed that I would do whatever I could to make sure that no one else suffered as I had. I put years of clinical and theoretical experience into this program. The guided meditations that accompany the program proved especially awesome to so many readers/listeners.
The program has five parts:
- A self-assessment for to know where you are at on the Awesomeness scale.
- The philosophy, therapeutics, and science of awesomeness, so you know that you can change.
- The seven steps to become awesome again.

You definitely can change to a better version if yourself
The process of change is drastic. Most people do not even attempt to change themselves because, deep down inside, they do not believe they can change. For me this book is a great tool to help my partner in his change and development process. However, as a woman, I also benefitted quite a bit from this book. Dr. Flavio shows a great deal of knowledge on the various topics presented, such as genetics, neuroplasticity, and therapeutics. His experience as a renowned therapist and philosopher comes alive in every page of this wonderful book. I highly recommend this book, both for men and for women.
