The BEST book I've read on meditation

I tell people all the time that if one daily practice changed everything, it is meditation. The results aren't always instantaneous. Sometimes the results take awhile to build up, but slowly, and suddenly, peace of mind, clarity, focus, connection, and all that good stuff become more prevalent.

@emilystellafletcher 's book, Stress Less, Accomplish More, is the best book I've ever read on meditation.

She clearly cuts through some of the BS surrounding meditation, and gives you permission to experience this for you. Plus, her Ziva technique is my new daily practice.

If you've struggled with "being good" at meditation in the past, or think you'll never be good at sitting still, or stopping thoughts, THIS is the book you've been waiting for.

And, the best part for me, was Emily's voice in the audiobook. Whatever her decibel level is, it resonates in my bones and I enjoyed every minute of her teaching, and playfulness.

Highly recommend!

Not only is this not just another self-help book, Listening to Emily read this book was like retaking her class!

I’m a student of Emily’s and know first hand the benefits of the Z technique - for me, it eradicated my sometimes debilitating anxiety. Yes! It’s that powerful. However as I’m only human I got wrapped up in life and got lazy about my meditation so this book and more so listening to Emily read this book was exactly the refresher and reminder / recommitment I needed. It doesn’t work unless you do it! And I’m already feeling more productive and motivated. My wish for everyone is to at minimum listen to this book and hear how low investment / high reward meditation can be - you’re not going to find that kind of ROI anywhere else. Bonus: it’s such a treat to hear Emily read this book herself and hear the passion and confidence she has in this to help everyone. In fact it’s almost like sitting all cozy in her NYC studio taking her class! 💗

I’m so glad I read this book

There is so much in this book and I’m so grateful to have read it. I will reread and use this tool as much as I can. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to exactly what the title says, stress less and accomplish more. If your reading this review, please, read the book!

Better than I even expected

Of course she preaches about the Zeva technique a lot because THAT IS the point of the book, but it is incredibly fascinating with the wealth of knowledge she provides from the research she has done. I recommend it and I think the z technique is unique and easy to apply

Life changing book, I am now a daily meditator!

I love this book so much. Emily does an incredible job of sharing information, benefits, practices, stories, and tools. She is relatable and I am not on my 6th day in a row of the morning practice. I've been meditation off and on for years but really feel confident that this is going to stick because I now have a form to follow and it's only 15 minutes at a time, so far my practice has been anywhere from 17 minutes up to 25 minutes so far, I have not used a timer to come out of it. I feel so much more clarity, and energy and focus throughout my days. I even was with family all weekend and felt the best I've felt around the family in a long time. I woke up and immediately just did my practice before leaving my room. I've done it in quiet rooms and even in a noisy place yesterday. It's amazing how it feels do-able in any place or situation. So grateful for your work Emily. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this book and if you have had a deep calling to bring a meditation practice into your life or not, this book is definitely for you.
