About this listen

A tender addition to the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and upcoming audiobooks.

Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve.

Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated-scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.

A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.

Performed by Melody Muze, Anthony Palmini, Colleen Delany, Jon Vertullo, Amanda Forstrom, Shawn K. Jain, Nora Achrati, Karenna Foley, Gabriel Michael, Natalie Van Sistine, Eva Wilhelm, Henry W. Kramer, Bianca Bryan, Renee Dorian, Matthew Bassett, Rob McFadyen, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Yasmin Tuazon, Matthew Schleigh, Nanette Savard, Dan Delgado, Michael John Casey, Alejandro Ruiz, and Samantha Cooper.

Nice filler book

This was a bit of a teaser book. Little drama and good transition to post war troubles and rebuilding.

Everyday is worth telling

I love this series, have read and listened to the original books, so listening to the story in dramatized version was both a new and familiar experience. I enjoyed this version quite a bit, and thought the cast did a good job. It was nice seeing what "everyday/mundane" life looks like, brought alive by the cast's performance. It's not always epic fights and world shaking problems.

Compared to the first 3 books

Felt like a filler book I could have done without but I did enjoy it. My first dramatic adaption and I think I’ll stick to my regular audio books lol

A calm and easy story

A calm and easy story beautifully narrated and acted by the cast. I swear the weaver sounds like Tilda Swinton, if not that's who i image in the story and she would be the perfect actress for the role.

easy, fast paced, & hooking read

it wasn’t as memorable as the other books in this series, but it was still a great read none the less.

Good read after the events of ACOWAR

I think this novella was a good break after all the events of the previous book in the series and leads us into the next book well.

Open ends

I felt that in this book there were so many stories but all were left as open end. It is like prologue to next book not as much as separate book with separate story. Everything else was as expected. Graphic audio is wonderful.

It’s alright

If you like fillers then this book is entertaining. The music and background noises were a bit much but definitely enjoyed multiple people reading different characters. I wish I would have read the reviews first before wasting a credit on it though.

I love this version but…

I wish there was an option to turn off the music or adjust its volume. As someone who is sensitive to sounds, it was overstimulating for me.
