Great for kids and parents alike!

This is a great book for introducing children to the many benefits of yoga. It is very easy to follow along, the poses are explained very well and the narrators voice is calming and soothing. I loved the music, especially the first one as it reminded me of being at the spa :) This is an excellent practice to start with your child/children right now as most of us are dealing with being quarantined at home. I believe you will both benefit from this tremendously during this difficult time. Enjoy!

Wonderful book!

Wonderful way to spend time with your child and teach them about mindfulness. My child loves the “Bedtime” books and it helps her fall asleep much easier than before.

Repetitive

I thought the narrator, music , guided meditations and yoga poses were calm and age appropriate. It was easy to follow the yoga and breathing directions for younger children and beginners.
However, the chapters repeated the same stories over again.

Great bedtime yoga for kids 5-10

We had never used a yoga audiobook before and we really liked this one. It was very nice to not have to fumble with changing the pages in a physical bedtime yoga book or having to be in front of a screen before bedtime. My kids are 7 and almost 4. The 7 year old and I loved the yoga and meditations. My almost 4 year old was a bit distracted and distracting... We found the poses were simple enough that we could do them on my daughters' bedroom rug - no need to pull out yoga mats. During stay at home orders for Covid-19, this has been a nice way to transition from our day to bedtime. The only thing we weren't 100% in love with was the narrators monotone voice. However, when we finished the 3 stories, we realized that the subsequent chapters are the same stories told in a a different style with different music, so now we're 100% happy with this audiobook.

A really good way to wind down

I have two young boys (5&9) who have been sceptical to try audio yoga but this audio book has been a success. They enjoy the stories and we all do the exercises together, feeling calmer and more content before we read a story and they go to bed. It might be a little nicer if there were a few different people narrating but that is just our view as the boys prefer when things are mixed up a bit 😊

Background music competes with good narration

This is the first book i have read/listened to by this author. I have not listened to all of them yet. The ones I’ve listened to were quite nice and about 20 minutes each. They need to be done before climbing into bed. Mild descriptions of posture or correct breathing is given.

This is the first book I have listened to by this narrator ( Marisa Imon ) and I think she did quite well narrating. Her voice is soothing and calm. Her cadence is good. I found the music in the background to be a little overpowering and reverberated uncomfortably when played on my iPad. On my phone and speakers it sounded better but there were sounds or instruments that overpowered at times and could have been more subtle. It’s not as calming when the music competes with the narrator.
She also does the breathing as an example but this was done a bit too close to the microphone it seems since the volume increased at that point and was a bit jarring.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this unbiased review.
