About this listen

Good questions lead to better decisions.

Discover five game-changing questions to ask every time you make a decision - questions that will help you in your finances, relationships, career, and more.

Your decisions determine the direction and quality of your life. Your decisions create the story of your life. And while nobody plans to complicate their life with bad decisions, far too many people have no plan to make good decisions.

This book will help you live differently.

In Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets, Andy Stanley will help you learn from experience and stop making bad decisions by integrating five questions into every decision you make, big or small.

You'll discover how to:

  • Develop a decision-making filter that reveals which choices will likely lead to positive results in your life.
  • Avoid selling yourself on bad ideas and making quick decisions when time is short.
  • Find truth and clarity in any tricky decision.
  • Improve relationships and heal division through better decisions.
  • Discover the reasons behind your decisions so you can move forward with positive changes.
  • Consider the long-term impact of your choices so you can write a life story worth celebrating.
  • Easily identify any red flags that signal which decisions may result in future regrets.

Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets will set you up for success in every season of life, for the rest of your life.

Practical ideas for thought before big decisions

Andy delivers an easy-to-understand commentary on what we should think about before making big decisions. The performance is very conversational, just like his sermons.

Giving You A Biblical Framework For Good Decisions

Surely we all could use help in making decisions. All of us have regrets.. Andy Stanley gives us a five part filter on how to make good decisions, decisions that we're less likely to regret later and that are more in line with God's will. While it's not an in depth theology book I think it's a good start to give someone a framework for making good decisions. I would say this book is for someone at least in their twenties.

The book is not too long, could listen to it in one afternoon if you wanted to. as I said, it's not a deep theology book, but it's more practical. It discusses practical principles that anyone could apply to their lives. The last one probably only a Christian is likely to apply... In each section he does give illustrations from the Bible to help us understand. In the summary Stanley brings it all together and shows us how this is a way to renew our mind and ultimately to move towards the will of God as Paul talks about, towards knowing His will for your life.

Stanley reads the book himself, does so with inflection and an interesting and clear voice.

Helpful

I think the repetition was actually helpful even if slightly annoying at times. Worth a listen.

Clear concise class Andy Stanley literature

I've grown up listening and watching Andy Stanley and I absolutely loved the premise of this book - We write story of our lives one decision at a time - make it a good one. I also loved that he recorded himself reading it. I prefer to have books narratored by the author unless I can get morgan freeman to narrator it. He builds off his previous book with the powerful question of asking what does love require of us. highly recommend this book because it's up there with visioneering, comminicating for a change and deep and as wide of classic Andy Stanley literature.

Amen and a to the Amen

Great book that hit home and reminds us that evolution of the mind and growth of any human requires honesty and doing the things that we can live with in the long term.
