Oh how I loved this story. So happy for Portia and Kent. I love how their story came together and the cherry on top was the birth of their son. I can't wait to get into Regan's story. I can see myself going broke trying to read the numerous Beverly Jenkins books on Audible (lol).

This story.... was so good! The author actually finished it thoughtfully, which was a nice change from the abrupt endings I’ve been reading lately. I loved the storyline and characters. I loved the narration as well. I can’t get enough of this series. Now, let’s see what Reagan is up to! Moving on to the last book in the series!

When I was younger I used to hear that " we make plans and God laughs " in my opinion that is a perfect summation Porsche never wanted to marry and have children. God had other plans for her. God brought her Kent. This was a another excellent story told by Beverly Jenkins

I always enjoy reading Miss Beverly Jenkins stories. They have so much black history I didn't know about.

I loved being a part of the Portia and Kent love story. They were a joy to discover. Her insistence at keeping him at arm length was funny and sweet, and their falling in love with each other was steamy and passionate. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the narration by Ms Staunton. Bravo...again.

This story was adventurous, steamy and a great story. The action at the end made the story even more delicious. Porsha and Kent had a beautiful love story.

I really enjoyed this story although I couldn't get past the narrators voice. It seemed like she used the same voice for each character and it threw me off. Good read as always...
